  1. i never classified Star 1993 as too different. To me it was just abstract but didn't like shatter anything to such a great degree as drill, music, etc... What i consider groundbreaking is what Zingali did in the 1980s. Okay now that changed design and style to a whoa degree.
  2. Almosta always, a corps' goal is to have a great finals run. But we know that's not always the case. Name some of the terrific runs. (Note some finals runs aren't exactly the best technical run nontheless, the energy was still there) 1999 - Santa Clara Vanguard (SCV was roaring in my face that year) 2000 - The Cadets 2003 - Phantom Regiment (bad guard run but that energy was still rocket launching out from those white unis) 2003 - Blue Devils 2005 - The Cadets 2005 - Phantom Regiment
  3. Whew.... collapsing T in SCV 99.... Whew.... almost had a heart attack from the excitement. One of the best moves ever.
  4. Top 3 (without personal influence) 1) Phantom Regiment - Surpise... haha they're good at fan favorites 2) Blue Devils 3) Santa Clara Vanguard
  5. Wasn't there a relative of William Walton (wife possibly?) during 1990 DCI finals watching Belshazzar's Feast performed by Star of Indiana
  6. Blue Devils - 2003 "The Phenomenon of Cool" Phantom Regiment - 1996 "A Defiant Heart" Santa Clara Vanguard - 1989 "The Phantom of the Opera" The Cadets - 2000 "We Are the Future" The Cavaliers - 1991 "The Cavalier Anthems - Advent Collection" Star of Indiana - 1991 "Roman Images" Madison Scouts - 1996 "A Drum Corps Fan's Dream Part Dos" It was hard for me to choose 1991 or 1990 Star...
  7. The Cadets 1989-1993 & 1997-2003...a little fart in the middle... and 2005 Star of Indiana 1990-1993 Blue Devils 1988-1993 & 2003-2004 Santa Clara Vanguard 1999-2004 The Cavaliers 1990-1992 Phantom Regiment 1990-1993, 1996-1997, 2002-2005
  8. I eenie meenie minee mo-ed Star 1990, 1991, and 1993 ended up with Star 1990
  9. Cadets 2005 must have been a ##### to clean with those mirrored uniforms. *edited for filter circumvention* -KM
  10. I'll say Bernstein. But i must admit that the fame of almost all artists are cherised posthumously. Let's wait until John William dies and compare his work with the others... :P
  11. That is an awesome video! I've lately become a really big Bluecoats fan.
  12. I don't associate with those substances, I frown upon it. I've only gotten drunk once and I refuse to go back there again. I'm sorry if I offend anyone, but I have a solid perception of people who do drugs, smoke, or alcohol as an inferior weakness. I've had friends and family members harmed by these substances and it was in most cases that they found recreational aspects of getting high or drunk. Which, I might add, is one the most asinine views I've ever encountered. I especially despise people who use them in the musical world. This is cliche, but I take full belief in it-- Music is a way getting out of the hardships of life. Why would a musician give up one of the most glorious aspects of the human soul for poison? This trade boils every pint of blood in me.
  13. hi.............................................................................. ...................scades i had no idea ^OO^ but now i do
  14. Me i like 1987-1993 ... blah in the middle then 1999-2005
  15. It couldn't hurt one day. It might help the corps themselves in a motivational way. "Whoa corps A is definitely some competition check out those feet!"
  16. I hope the speakers are blasted louder than they were last year I'm gonna guess the top 3 most voted shows are (not in any order) 1999 Santa Clara Vanguard 1989 Phantom Regiment 1993 Star of Indiana
  17. I sometimes question what Cavaliers 2005 was. I think it's the worst ever. That was by far the most feminine thing I've ever seen on an all male corps. \ In positive aspects :) I really like the early 90s cavalier uniforms.
  18. Hate to say it but often time the top 5 or 6 is in silent league of their own. Oh yeah... Bye splooie
  19. Whoopie we got scientific method going on here. Cire, read, read read, if you don't want to don't waste time, I said the original file is fine, but it's the encoding that's causing the problem when sent.
  20. Don't worry about it, it's just the original file's encoding
