That's too bad. Awful when all those plans and preparations are met with outside forces. Well, at least you got half the show in and the Corps was able to perform for the crowd. Looking forward to the Clifton show.

Marching the Memorial Day Parade in Bayonne, then strutting down that hill toward Veteran's Stadium to perform our show for the first time in full uniform for the home crowd! That was cool.

Interesting topic. I have been involved with corps that practice every available last minute of that weekend and corps that schedule 'party' times for their members, so it is interesting to see how both extremes work. Guess if you work smart during most of the season then you don't have to work so hard at the end. Do members join a corps or not join a corps because of their I&E policy? I doubt it....but who knows. I don't think it would be fair to mandate corps on this issue, nor do I think you should penalize corps for not attending. Never did take into account the dollars and cents issue though, so it does add a different perspective on the topic. One thing's for sure, I'd love to be there to hear this topic discussed at a DCA meeting. They should sell beverages and pulled pork at that event! I'll keep reading for more insight.

I guess not......well then you have to bring a stadium full of non-humid air with you this year. We can all chip in to make that happen.
