At first glance I thought you wrote "Pubes" and I nearly spit out my drink.

There's a difference between them rising to BDs (mostly consistent) level and BD falling to theirs, not to mention BD beat them on finals night.

For as nice as it is to see Regiments guard beating BD and for as much as I want them to be contenders I just don't think they will be. What I think is occurring right now is that regiment is performing an easier guard program at a higher level than BD and that once BD cleans up they will overpower Regiment in that caption. To the poster who said PR is playing the BD game in terms of guard design, I respectfully disagree - I find BD to be the cutting edge of guard design in DCI these days, just as I view Cavaliers as the cutting edge of guard execution. Even when Adam Sage was there they still couldn't compete with BD when it came to design. Not to come off as down on their guard - they're lightyears ahead of last year (the past 2 years have been the dark ages compared to what we see today). Double swing flags in a ballad? When's the last time that won at finals - 1998?
