Yes Cause I did pay for it.. its not cool at all... Ive been waiting all year to see this.. and I couldnt afford to be there live.. I want to see corps... especially HYPE, Dutch Boy and some Div 3 corps like BDC

Ok I know this topic has probably gone by and I didnt see it.. but was anybody watching BK's CG? Did the guard have new unis on today? BTW I didnt think Academy beat Colts.. but I think its cool that they are in the mix of things.

ok so heres my opinion on the "Pacific Crest/ Academy" thing... I think Academy has potential to make top twelve Pacific Crest semis.. BUt I dont think right at this moment Pacific Crest is going to be a challenge for Colts.. Colts have pulled away from that group a bit. I do think that Academy could make things interesting and at this point I wont count them out of the top twelve.

OK I agree with someone saying that if its an emergency.. then ok.. or some old couple or little kid.. BUT if its not one of those exceptions then.. I say you simply stop them ask them to go around.. and explain why.. most ppl say ok.. the only time more force should be used is if the person after being explained too.. doesnt get it. Or just being a ####### idiot Anyway my story.. IN 2001 a member of the Marine drum and bugle corps.. broke ranks with the corps I was in... His commanding officer saw it.. stopped him and in uniform mad him drop and give 100.. and while this man was doing that.. the officer in command yelled saying "YOU NEVER BREAK A DRUM CORPS RANKS DO YOU UNDERSTAND?" and the guy doing pushups sad SIR YES SIR. and after we were coming off the field he was standing beside us.. at attention appologizing to all of us.

IM guilty of that as well.. and when listening to music. I will hear something and say.. wow that would be perfect for a riffle toss.

The only thing I will say is.. Cadets somehow are so far being very succesful regardless of my views. And IMO Cadets are riding a good wave and have no reason to start fizzling.. But the other corps are deffinetly going to go into Allentown with there A game. There are 7 corps who could take the title in my opinion and no one at this point is going to not go for it. This is a big weekend coming up and a good preview of things to come. If Cadets win this weekend.. the good for them. As for the narration thing... Cadets are Cadets.. ppl are always going to be drawn to them and want to march with them. I dont think that its going to affect them in a negative way anytime soon. And who knows if they will keep doing narration. Again regardless of my views... Cadets are a talented solid corps and the best is who make it there.. and a lot of ppl want to perform with some of the best... and that includes learning under some of the best instructors in the activity, only time will tell.. even though I dont think they have anything to worry about.

I could see how 1988 Suncoast Sound was a controversial show .. but i ABSOLUTELY LOVE that show is so erie and creepy and cool,,, deffinetly ahead of its time and on the edge. One of the best shows in 88 or in the eighties in my opinion. I wish they were still around putting out products like that... AMAZING SHOW

SO apparently it was 79 That Cadets "Amen" happened.. the reason why I think i had the date wrong was because a) i was born in the middle of the 79 season... and B) as someone stated vocals were finally allowed come 1984 so that must be my confusion... but I was right that it happened!!!!

Nnnnnnope....it was a gigantic North Vietnam flag that got pulled out at the end of te show (to the fantastic last-chopper-leaving-Siagon sound effects from the battery)....all red and yellow....not a bit of white or blue in there, I wasnt sure about the year of Cadets,,,Amen, I was either really young or I wasnt born I just knew it happened.. BUt I KNOW at the end when SCV brings out the flag in the one corner it does have the American stripes... Its one of my favorite SCV shows.. if you have the finals tape watch it it is there, In the bottom right/left hand corner. Oh and I never said I was completly acurate..
