I know a guy that will be marching with the Bridgemen on Sat night at DCI EAST and then 6 days later and then marching DCI Madison with THe Madison Scouts Alumni Project. Now that is a drum corps fan's dream. The 2 most entertaining shows in DC in a long, long time. RF

I did not see the marching show, I saw them do a standstill with Jubal about a 2 weeks ago. For as small as they were, they we very good. I thought the music was done rather well. Good job and good luck to Dutch Boy. RF

IF you took the top 4 corps scores at Championships and flip flopped them no one would know the difference. The corps are all so good that we are just going by somebody's opinion. Bring back the tear down captions. Stand in front of some kid and dare him or her to play perfectly. Have a judge stand in front of a snareline and have them indavidually and as a group prove to that the judge that he can't find anything wrong. Nowadays you have to be nice and always build up. What ever happened to get your act together and prove that you were the best instead of some "judge" that likes or dislikes you slot you where they think you belong. How is it that "judges" on each coast score 2 different shows on the same night very ,very similar?? Just a thought RF

I realize that the guard does add alot of color and showmanship to the corps visually. I just don't think that they should weigh in as much as they are. the guard is only about 20-25% of the corps. Should they weigh as much as a horn line of 55-60% of the corps?? RF

I believe it to be true. I don't think I,m the only one that does either.

DCI not only knows who is going to judge finals, they also know the scores they are to give each corps RF

Madisn Scouts Alumni is the largest and the LOUDEST hornline ever. It will never be topped. Say what you will wish what you want. Never ever will you feel a hornline with this power. This not against any one, I'm not saying, I'm just saying that this power needs to be felt as well as heard. I love all horn lines big, small it makes no difference as long as there is a horn line. RF

the bando spoke to quick! Even though he knows all about drum corps, he also read too quick. excuse me but, Dan did not post that the uni was not Madison. The post was from sburstal. And if the bando had seen the performance, he might not be so critical of the Drum corps older generations that all bando's dislike and fear. IMHO.

Thank God the Bando's have figured out Drum and Bugle corps. Go tell Sal and te Scouts to scrap the show and to give up. Take your band and stat competing and see if you can fill the spot. I'm sure you are up to the task. Anyone who says Bando's do not degrade DC and only look the positives should read this and most other threads. I'm done fighting. I am now a Bando. Once again. I posted in haste. After working my backside off all weekend and really feeling the Madison brotherhood, I was not in the mood for bando's bashing the guard of the corps that I love so much. That would be the reason for my spelling issues Roark. Thanks for pointing that out.
