  1. Congrats guys, should sound great. Marty, you're always fishing for a laugh
  2. What were we talking about? Oh yeah, I would think Mark Gerber would have something. The last picnic I remember, Joyce (Rumfolla? I dated her in '78 and can't remember her name) somehow fell into a stream with a just a white tee shirt on Ahh, the good 'ol days.
  3. I can't wait to play "Rainmaker" again in front of the Forum audience.
  4. I'd say a New Horizon reunion is way overdue (unless you've been having them and I wasn't invited).
  5. Yeah Bob, I often have horrifying flashbacks of my Wedgy Indian initiation. And, every time I here "Another Star", I want to shake my horn up & down. What ever happened to the Tammys (TammEE & TammI)?
  6. I don't think I could drag my wife out of the Buc's mello line this year.
  7. I'm with you Dave, but I need a temporary parent to stay home with my drum corps hating daughters.
  8. I used to commute from WNY to Reading to march with the Bucs in '81 when I was single, I wonder if my wife & kids would mind if I commuted to White Sabers practices.
  9. Merry Christmas from a former Western New Yorker. You can keep the white stuff up there.
  10. Wow, Jim you really are passionate about drum corps. I usually just clap. Please don't sit behind me at finals.
  11. So, what's going on with "Mork & Bundy" (Gerber)? Are they still involved? You guys have been improving steadily over the last few years. Keep it up.
  12. Best of luck Sun. It sounds like a great show. Missed you last year.
  13. I'd love to but I can't orphan my 15 year old daughter (who hates drum corps). So I'm restricted to the Alumni corps for now. Unless I can talk Kris into staying home this summer (yeah right). maybe someday we will be able to march together
  14. Jim, It was great seeing you in the line last Sunday. Hope you come this weekend and bring a friend. If everyone did that there would only be about 180 something horn players. Think how that would sound.
  15. "(Then there's that smug Bucs band parent section at PaeTec last year, but never mind that)" Sorry Tom, we'll try to keep it down this year. Wouldn't want to come off as "smug". Anyway I'm sure we'll be outnumbered by the E.S. Marching Band supporters.
  16. The Bucs will be rehearsing at Medina High School on Saturday & Sunday.
  17. "In the last 5 weeks ES score has gone up 10 points, Bucs only 7" The Bucs have only had three shows in the last five weeks and I know that they weren't particularly happy with their performance in Scranton on Saturday. Yet they still won by almost two points. I really don't see another '81 happening.
  18. Good luck Bucs, especially my better half in the mello line.
  19. Thirded In my opinion, Bush should be scoring much higher than they are. They have one of the most entertaining shows out there.
  20. Yeah, I know Jerry. I think he worked with the New Horizon guard during that corps brief existence. But I doubt he would remember me. I was in the horn line. Speaking of New Horizon, congrats to Mark Gerber and the White sabers on their improvement. It was nice catching up on old times at the Chambersburg show.
  21. A strong winter program and consistent dedicated membership turnout is definitly a key to their success. Wow, another New Horizon alum. Do I know you?
  22. There is no secret. The Bucs have a great staff and support system, talent and a DCI style work ethic that I dare say is unmatched in DCA. A simple program? Are you kidding? Maybe it just looks that way but by no means is that a simple drill.
