I am not sure I agree w/ the premise that the speed of the drill is the cause of injuries and/or holes. It may be one cause, but, I doubt, the only cause.
I will need to dig out my scrap book, but I remember a 4 Jul (+/- a day) 1983 afternoon contest we were in where scores were real inflated and Dutch Boy won with a 93 or so. Was Illinois judging, Chicago suburb somewhere. Last place corps was in 30s ( I can name, but won't), in evening DCM show all was back to normal.
So I guess Dutch Boy beat Garfield by a year.
Or maybe not :P
Off topic but maybe not,
I was in grad School when wife was pregnant w/ kid #1; was taking a parasitology class, and it was amazing how many similarities there were between pregnancy and a parasitic infection. Like 'Alien', but different. Parasites do something like 17 things, unborn babies about 15.
However, if experiencing the symptoms, think baby, not parasite.
Chronologically
1977 Screaming Star Trek (Maynard Ferguson style) opener, Echano, and I don't know how to love him, w/ Flaga on sopranos and vocal amen. This show is worth buying the 1977 Legacy DVD
