Boston actually did pay their dues when they got 5th in 2000... being around for the 60th year... and having a kickbutt show... politicing is very fickle... i can't explain it... all i can say is, i don't think any new corps will win DCI until something changes...

I am up on the list of people that would be excited for Boston winning... but, right now I don't think anyone but the big 4 is going to win... The way their talent level is, AND the politics in the judging community... things have to change for an outside corps to do better than 4th...

Seems like the eastern corps have longer move-ins... I remember in 02, Boston having a 4 week long move-in... Starting at the end of may, to around the 24th of June...

As the summer is upon us and the DCP Forums are getting into full swing. I beg of you all to THINK about what you want to discuss, outloud... if it sounds like something that at least 2 other people would be interested in, then start it. But if you are starting a forum JUST to start a forum, then you are wrong. Let us not have DIARRHEA of the mouth (fingers). Let us start the summer off right by having good topics. Such as, ex. "What does everyone think about BDs uniforms this year"... OR... "Did anyone hear that like that the Cadets did on the APD, what did you all think of it." , NOT, "I have a scientific calculation on who will place where in the finals.." (no offence to who started that one) If we take the time and think about what we write... then we will be more inclined to create intelligent conversation... Thanks

You said it right there... pianos are too tempermental... along with a pianist.. you would have to tour with a person to tune the piano before every show...

Look like G Bugles... trumpets looked soprano like... maybe i am wrong...

Lots of "Classical" music... orchestral stuff... just something to relax me... NEVER drum corps music... NEVER!!!

I wouldn't use the Cadets style to audition for any corps but the Cadets... corps SAY they are straight leg... but that probably means they are most like the Blue Devils... Cadets march the wooden sodier technique...

Aussies are WAY too hot... Shakos a little cooler...
