Dang this is too bad. I work on the weekends so without that dvr function, I won't be able to catch anything. I'm definitely going to be going through withdrawals this summer.

I went to the BBQ once before but it was a few years ago and couldn't remember the time but I know it was more than an hour before the show began. I've tried contacting both BD and SCV through social media but no replies so far. Hmm yes so maybe 4pm would be a good bet if I can't find a more firm answer. Thanks for the info! I wonder if BD or SCV is first.

I lost my flyer/newsletter that I think had the info on it and I am unable to find the start time of the BBQ tomorrow on either corps website (or I just don't know where to look). Any help would be appreciated!

I agree with the theory that OPEC lowered their prices significantly to undermine/price out the burgeoning oil industries like Brazil and Russia who built their industry based on the super high cost per barrel. If they can't profit, they shut down and go away. They will take a financial hit for now but they know it's temporary. The US won't really be affected in the long run.

LOL! I remember going through that diet but that goodness I did not end up having dry socket. I was so afraid I'd have that considering how "invasive" the surgery had to be. I do remember losing quite a few pounds during that week. What sucked even more was that it was close to Christmas time. Diets and holidays don't mix. Hope you get better soon!

Wow guys you are an inspiration! I've only lost about 15 so far! What have you guys been doing to lose the weight? For me, about over a month ago I began taking cardio exercise more seriously. I've been rock climbing for over 2 years now but it can only do so much. On top of that, my diet was pretty bad. Currently, I'm training for the Disney World Half Marathon in Jan 2016... I hate running though lol.

And this app, I'm sure, doesn't even scratch the surface in terms of how difficult playing music can be, let alone moving fast and playing music. I mean it's not like I ever thought that the stuff DCI does is stuff I can do in my sleep or anything--extremely far from it but playing around with this app really put it into perspective.

Not sure if I am correct or not, but I believe there are luxury boxes on the opposite side of that luxury box structure as you called it (not sure what else to call it). They appear to be above the 2nd tier of seats. Either way, waaaaay better than that rusty old Rose Bowl down south.

Despite being on the west coast having to enjoy only early versions of shows, except '07, the show at Stanford has been host to the eventual DCI champion in EVERY year's show since it's inception in 2007. We've been lucky in that aspect that, by chance, a corps decides to go west for a tour ends up winning. Aside from TOC shows or other major shows, are there any other shows out there that has hosted the eventual champion since its inception/first-ever show? 2007: Blue Devils 2008: Phantom Regiment 2009: Blue Devils 2010: Blue Devils 2011: The Cadets 2012: Blue Devils 2013: Carolina Crown 2014: Blue Devils Sure, I may be reaching here, especially since BD has been pretty dominant, but still--it's pretty neat. What are the chances of the three non-BD corps deciding to come west to end the season as number one? Basically, I am BEGGING all you midwest and east coast corps to come to Stanford on a regular basis. It's not easy for some of us to venture eastward.
