  1. Does it still count if the Cadets didnt win the spirit of disney in 05? :P
  2. 2002 Cadets - Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy... Definitely a crowd favorite. There was a show during the summer, where the announcer said "Once again ladies and gentlemen, THE CADETS!" after Boogie. He figured it was the end of the show since the crowd went insane for it.
  3. Um yeah, definitely thought you were having a brain anyurism when that happened. We were freaking out...but I suppose it was a bit more painful/scary for you though.
  4. Perhaps a smarter move would just be to keep the holes and drop to div II.
  5. I'm not trying to knock any of the other guys out there, because everyone mentioned is extremely talented, but in my opinion, no current arranger out there does it like Jay Bocook. Listen to his shows...especially recently...there will be at least 4 crazy lines going on at once but they all make sense with each other. And the way Tom Aungst writes...you hear the horn parts in the drum parts. Add in Neil and they've got quite the package.
  6. Learn how to spell. I found this for you - :feednotroll: Looks like someone is going to go hungry. Thank you Jared, much love. B)
  7. Thanks...whoever you are. :D And Adrian...that pic is from 04. Baritone? Yeah, in Brigs. Fool.
  8. I think we can all agree that Jay Bocook is amazing.
  9. Yes because 5th place definitely = a complete failure.
  10. Some people like it and others don't, which is totally fine. At least the Cadets aren't afraid to take a chance.
  11. Because anyone will clap for a loud chord...a good number of people don't take the time to actually analyze a show and appreciate the work that goes into designing something that has a lot of depth. Instead they just jump on the "I hate singing and amps" bandwagon. I'm sure enough people do really hate singing and thats fine, but I'm still pretty sure I heard a lot of applause for the Cadets this past summer.
  12. Yeah, when you use enough product to pollute an entire ocean, your hair isn't going anywhere for days. ^OO^
  13. I suppose it depends on what is and is not acceptable in your drum corps. Where I marched, show hair is like a ritual. Put unhealthy amounts of gel on wet hair and put it into a tight ponytail making sure to have it looking perfect before you tie it. I had 2 different brushes and a fine toothed comb to get it just right. Once youre done with that, braid the ponytail and put it into a tight bun. I then used spray gel or hairspray and the fine toothed comb again to make sure that nothing was ever going to even think about moving. I never personally used bobby pins, just small black or brown hair clips...looks much neater imo. So yeah, if all is done right, you should look like a boy.
  14. -Herbal essences shampoo -DCT -Sunscreen -Diesel fumes -Beef Jerky -The smell of my disgusting visor that I wore all my summers and still have This isn't really a smell, but anytime I walk into a convienence store or a wal-mart, I think I'm on tour again and feel the need to "stock up" on things that I don't really need.
  15. That is an intelligent comment. He's clearly done nothing for the progression of the activity. Kick him out!!
  16. check out the middle horn leader 14...it's on amazon.com
  17. The majority of members in Aimachi are over 21 so I dunno how well that would work, but it sure would be fun to see it happen.
