  1. They were doing encores back when I first started in '83 so I'm sure it goes beyond that.
  2. Yeah, I know, George. I never thought I'd have a list w/o BD on it, but as much as I hate to say it, I don't ever see myself watching their 2013 show ever again. I've already watched Crown, SCV and Troopers a few times since last weekend. Including Crown and Vanguard today.
  3. I remember this same exact thing happening just a couple years ago to a band planning a trip to Hawaii, I believe it was. Not to distract from the thread, but what is a "Sunday Boot Shake"?
  4. I've never taken one out but I'd think about it. It would probably depend on who's paying the tab and if my wife would agree to it.
  5. How I would have put them based purely on MY enjoyment... 01. SCV 02. Crown 03. Troopers 04. Madison 05. Cadets 06. Phantom 07. Bluecoats 08. SoA 09. Boston 10. Cavies 11. Pac Crest 12. Blue Stars
  6. Yeah. I was wondering why those 3 shows as well. Although Madison did play Requiem last year. Hmmm... protest show, Requiem... maybe '84 Suncoast should take some credit!
  7. For me it was Madison. Didn't like their show at all at first. Just felt like they overplayed the emotion card... until I really got to know the backstory and saw how the alumni ate everything up and backed up their guys on the field. By finals I was sold. I was so glad the cameras panned the audience so we could see those proud alumni standing up and singing.
  8. I won't be, but my baby girl (well, not so much anymore ) has her mind set on Vanguard Cadets.
  9. OK, I'll take us back a bit wth kjust a couple to start... 1983 Garfield Cadets - Simple Song (first half of the video... but watch the whole clip) 1984 Suncoast Sound - Requiem (Sorry the sound isn't the best. Only clip I could find. The ballad starts around the 8:13 mark but again, watch the whole clip) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gWIPdnwWboQ
  10. I have been saying this for years now! IMO, that was one of the most under the radar shows in DCI. I loved it so much that as soon as I got home from tour, I went out and found it on cassette tape! Yes, I said tape! I would love to see BD come out and just do a straight up, hit you over the head, old-school jazz show adapted to today's DCI. If SCV and Troopers can go "modern old school", so can BD. Just one year. That's all I'm asking. You hear me, Dave?
  11. Troopers and SoA. And not in a good way. In a fantastic way!!! Academy... Sorry, just the opposite.
  12. OK. I wasn't a fan of their show but geez, show just a little class, would ya?
  13. This is ridiculous! I've rolled back. I've refreshed. It's still a crapfest of a feed!
  14. We've been watching the multi-camera. Is one camera feed better than the other?
  15. I was getting pic freeze and it kept going back to previous shots. Knock on wood, it looks like it may have een fixed.
  16. You could see how proud he was of his corps after their performance yesterday. I was too!
  17. That's what they've done in the past
  18. You may have a hard time finding one on such late notice, but you can watch it on your TV with Google's Chromecast. ($35.00). You need a wireless connection and a USB port on your TV.
