My right stick tends to be lighter because it is played with a bit more harder than my left hand....yes....due to rim shots. good point. I never tape my sticks...i use vics and i hate all the extra junky weight on the sticks when you put tape on them. anyways...back to the topic.. I would use an electric scale ( the ones that go to the like 100th place :P ) and do that. most high schools should have one somewhere in there athletic department...

I would like to see blue devils/phantom take a classic tune and put a really really huge spin on it. Im talking all the best in one show with one huge spin. Kinda like how they took Rhapsody in 05 and made it into a whole show....except a lot more complicated It would rock...and add a buch of power chrods and some amazing gaurd work.....

Im trying out for a college drumline. They are pretty good. I asked my drum coach what i should play for auditions...he gave me this piece called "Trooper's Cadence" ( has anyone played that one?) and i feel like its too easy. I got it memorized in three days..... I dont want to play something at a college audition thats too easy for me...does anyone have any suggestions on challenging snare pieces for an audition?

yeah.........i saw the youtube before it got torn. They were coming to my town (Boise, ID) and i was totally phsyched to hear that they were coming, cuz the best weve had out here for a while was scv. I wanted to see some competition. After i saw the youtube version....i was hoping that live it would be a lot better. its july 31 so im still pumped to see it...but yeah. i dont like it eitheir...i wonder how many complaints the actual cadets have heard???
