  1. curious what is going on here... this is kinda open ended. And my curiosity is spiked by the fact that MA corps have been decreasing in numbers. Is this a new group?
  2. Found this today www.7thregiment.org 7th Regiment - "Excalibur" Holsinger - 'Liturgical Dances' DiLorenzo - 'Of Kingdoms and Glory Mvt. II and V' Sparke - 'Dance Movements Mvt. II' Schwanter - '...and the Mountains Rising Nowhere' Mitsuda/Uematsa - 'Lavos Battle'
  3. Seriously. Theres some great stuff for them that you cant always hear. Listen to the end when everyone else is playing on the cymbal racks, they're throwing down.
  4. Looks like alot of interesting stuff out of Wildwood tonight. Feel free to discuss here things about the show if any of you went. - Citations are within 2 points of the Surfers, this seems closer than much of Surf's competition has been. - The recap isn't posted yet, but I've heard that Percussion scores are interesting. Targets are within .2 of Spartans in drums, beating Racine, Stentors, and 7th! wow. They had a big jump overall as well, maybe 8 pts or so? - Spartans are regaining their spread over 7th after being surprised by them not too long ago. I sense they'll close in and beat Raiders in maybe a week. Sorry for the focused stuff on MA/New England corps, but thats my homeland, so feel free to discuss.
  5. Well thats what the cummerbund is for. Too bad they ditched on it.
  6. The Divine Comedy show was the deal. If the corps had a bigger membership in that year the show would have been monster, because the music was great.
  7. The sash is actually silver with red outline, and the gauntlets match, with a silver /red outline triangle on them. They've lost the red cummerbund (unfortunately) and the helmet emblem has changed from a silver half circle to a silver triangle.
  8. Good news for Teal I suppose, they'll get much more work in with the constructive criticism from being judged straight through.
  9. Judges are scoring this season, not past seasons.
  10. sounds like bum parents trying to get their hands on money, even if it is through exploiting their child and a positive youth activity, nevermind the gracious family that housed him/her...
  11. Actually, discussion is fine. Arguments and uninformed bad wishes upon the corps is ########. I believe the season is still going to happen and no one is doomed. Reel it in and stop wishing malice to the corps is all I am saying.

  13. To the people that continue to incite this pointless argument: You're ########. Enjoy 'marching' with the Couch-men this year while corps members and staff throw down all summer. Life goes on. If Spartans march 13 people total and Citations march super-corps this year... it is what it is. Life goes on. If East Coast Jazz folds, it is what it is... life goes on.
  14. And now, from Rosemont, Illinois, presenting their 2009 program, "No Strings Attatched: The Music of N'Sync," THHHHEEEEE CAVALIERSSS!
  15. true. the book is too thick, i know a couple guys in there and they play ALOT of notes. they either need to clean it up or thin it out.
  16. it is a very tight top 7 thank god. i want to see alot of dogfight alll the way 1-7. It is pretty sweet that the top 7 are all only really about a 3 point spread
