  1. Hmmm I like the next to the last sentence LOL
  2. I was at the Arlington show and The Indifference was disheartning. People would just stroll in and out to just watch certain corps and you could tell with others that it wasn't "their" corps due to the texting and such. When their corps came on though the phone went away and they gave total attention. Then after that performance just get up and leave never to be seen again. I didn't see this once or twice but ALL evening. Also saw it at several shows over the last few years. No audience ettiquette and NO respect for the work of the other corps. YES ELITISM SUX!!!
  3. And yet (to Quote another poster) they still bore me to tears. (especially the music).
  4. I guess that's why I've held out longer than my friend. I was hoping for reason. Now I'm Praying. I know this response you made was for 93Bluecoat but when I was reading his post I was saying to myself "Why didn't I write this". I hope I don't give up on it all together. There are some Corps getting back to accessible shows (The Boxer is one among others) but when I was listening to the horn EFX and watching ALOT (and I mean ALOT as the OP said NO Hyperbole) of people face palming and shaking their heads and muttering under their breath and even some open explitives, I cannot help but think something is VERY wrong. Even my friend who I talked into going with me saying "See, See, That's why I haven't been in 6 years!" Yeah, I see edited for spelling and to add some last minute thoughts
  5. I've been a paying customer Every year for 34 years now and I truly spend less every year. I went to the Arlington show this year and decided I'm NOT going to Murfreesboro. The gentleman that went with me to Arlington that evening has not been to a show since Murfreesboro 2004 and there's a reason he hasn't been back. He saw the writing on the wall then. I was in town visiting him and talked him into going to the Arlington show with me and when we left after the show for the first time I had to agree with him. IT IS NOT DRUM COPRS ANYMORE AND HASN"T BEEN FOR AWHILE!! Might as well change the name to MBI and get it over with.
  6. I LOVE this and totally agree. You put your self out there you open for criticism. by the way I DID drop Crrown a note. Have not heard back yet.
  7. Yes I am asking this also. As I said I'm against any financial reprocussions but, what would be wrong with enforcing all the rules the entire season in relation to the scores and penalties? Someone explain how this would hurt the activity.
  8. I totally agree. Actually I believe it's 9 1/2 minutes minimum to 11 minutes maximum. I don't mind that shows evolve and get tweaked and corrected throughout the season and I DO NOT advocate financial penalties. I do however think that scores should fully reflect what is on the field and I would not presume to insult the Judges and say that "How would they know a completed show or not". Puhleeze
  9. And people putting Phantom in 8th is hilarious. This show is a beast (Yes I've seen it) with just some serious cleaning and a few tweaks it will finish higher than 8th. Bank on it. The ending had my friend and I with lumps in our throats. Very nice. Will be better than people are giving it credit for.
  10. Spirit will open the GAP over Crossmen as for the other
  11. So the Judges are playing along with the BS. I think Timing should be whole season. I know shows evolve but put 9 1/2 minutes on the field for the paying customer ! Geez
  12. I would have sworn there's a 9 1/2 minute minimum. Or am I crazy??
  13. LOL The 'Coats Phantom spread will NOT be that wide LOL
  14. I believe he is just talking about the shows they've competed at. In that sense they have won the individual shows on the 24th 26th and 30th . Bloooo
  15. They also Won in Arlington on the 26th Bloooo
