I've woken up to Autumn Leaves four times. In 2009 (i think?) we were woken up once by some of the front ensemble playing the choral part of the Boxer. Beautiful ways to wake up.

If you mean that they will be entertaining then I'm all for it. I like being entertained.

Or their hornline... After watching the 2010 Blu Rays many times, I can't say that they were as good as the hype. 09 was MUCH better (probably why they won brass that year). 2010 had missed articulations, tuning problems, and crass individual tones at times. Still a good hornline, just not as good as everyone seems to think. All my opinion of course.

1. Bluecoats - I'm so hyped to see how this pans out. 2. Madison Scouts - From what I hear they're playing (and think about playing for their ballad) I am VERY excited to see if they deliver. 3. Blue Knights - Playing some music I have loved since my middle school days, and I hope they kick some ### 4. Blue Stars - Love the hornline, and hope the best for them

Those shows were definitely GREAT and a heck of a lot of fun to listen to. Something I miss... I miss Blue Devils shows like 1999, 2003, 2004. I loved being blown away by what their brass was doing. They did some sick stuff! I did miss Madison. I don't anymore. Last year was great, and from what I hear they'll be playing this year, it'll be even better in 2011 EDIT: I also liked the openers of 2007 and 2008 from BD a lot!

How many of them do you know and talk to on a regular basis? I can tell you that everyone I have met with DCI cares very much about the activity. The history and the future. If you don't believe that they care, then you are seriously misinformed, and I am sorry.

I predict that Crown will change their uniform in some way. Excuse me... I HOPE Crown will change their uniform.

DCI lines are cleaner, but I enjoy watching Top Secret too. They're fun to watch.

People make lots of predictions that don't come true. People predicted the other Ohio corps to be between 7-10th place last year. Point is, these don't matter. I'm still going to enjoy my summer whether people think I'll end up out of finals or if they predict my corps winning. It simply doesn't matter. They're fun to put it into words some thoughts you have, but still, not exactly relevant to the season's outcome.

I think (only based on source music and rumors for vanguard) that both are designing a bit out of the comfort zone. The real question is will it work? Thats always the fun part with taking risks in design. They are either really cool, (IMO Bloo 2010, SCV 2009) or not as well received by the public (Bloo 2009, SCV 2010). Both corps had elements of risk with their programs each year, and both found a different level of success.

Well I love the sound of the flugal, and no synth is cool... But I think this might be the bigger reason. I completely forgot about their design team changing for a little while there. I heard part of their source music, and I think curious is definitely the correct term for that. I like the irony of the Devils Staircase and Angels in the Architecture being played in the same year

Oh yeah, there are three shows within an hours drive for me. Or, for my family considering I'll actually be on tour. And six shows within about five hours from my home. North Texas is a great place for drum corps fans.

I hope to see the Denton Show in the new UNT stadium in 2012. Its about a five minute drive from the Denton ISD stadium. It has plenty of warm up space and should be a great venue for a drum corps show. Stadium rendered images Construction Cam
