Why start a uniform thread and not maintain it? Still no clear pic of BD, SCV, Madison and Mandarins to name a few. Who else haven't we seen?

Closest theater to Casper, WY is 3.5 hours away. I normally go every year. I'm gonna miss this one.

Preview night for Troopers was a standstill held indoors due to rain. They sound amazing! The music arrangements are very cool with a couple of nods to the past. It took all of 60 years to produce this musical product. The show is aggressive and yet very "hummable". The 1st movement grows and grows to a peak that will have many people out of their seats. The 2nd movement gives each section a chance to show off a bit. The ballad is so well arranged/performed it literally had me welling up with tears. The closer brings the entire thing together. I think many people will remember the 2018 Troopers. I know I will. Many of us former Troopers have a tendency to be hypercritical of the corps of late. I am guilty of this. This program seems to have found a "sweet spot" between us traditionalists and the more modern version of DCI. I wish them the best of luck for the season. H.L.D.

You know, It's always been quiet in Trooperland so, I don't want to spill the beans. I can say this is the strongest horn line and color guard I've seen for them this early. They are marching well. Drums...It's all just "white noise" to me. I see a spark and drive there that I believe has been missing for some time. I think Trooper fans will be quite happy. The music is cool and relatable. I will see them this weekend for their sendoff show.

I watched rehearsal tonight. I was shocked! In a good way. A very good way.

Looks like Troopers had thi biggest jump of the night. Maybe they'll lose those tarps now.

They would not. Poorest marching Trooper corps in a long time.

After reviewing the video of Denver, I think the problem is visual. Staging of guard is questionable. What does pass as good drill is executed poorly. Intervals and distances are weak. Hornline movement? What? Why? Is there a story line? I didn't get it. Color me disappointed.
