Yeah, I think Diamante looks a lot better this year. The show is a little toss at times, but at least they are catching them. From what I hear its their take on Romeo and Juliet. I didnt really care for Cypress, maybe its the music or.. who knows. It just missing something I have seen USF, they have some great moments, but a snooze of a song. Orlando Visual is much smaller this year and seem to have lost a lot of talent. Their opening movement is great, second half was a bit ruff, but its still early and they will have plenty of time to clean up and get those tricks. My fav so far has been Nease SW. Great show! Kind of reminds me of a young NEI. How are Pride, Alter Ego and Onyx? any details on their shows? I know what their shows are entitled, and I know people like them, but do not know what the show is about or what they are doing?

if that rule were in place this past season O2 wouldn't have won another medal when they clearly belonged in World. Although I still loved this years show!

I second this!!!! Paramount was amazing, and First Flight had some of the best GE of the night and best flag statement, def should have scored higher!

Couldnt agree more with you with the whole Aimachi, and First Flight & fantasia thing, they def. should have swapped. I think Pride used a floor for the seems, so they can do more precise drill, same with fantasia. I liked the pre show SAC used, you spin me round was used because it referenced the tornado in the wizard of Oz. They were just having fun with it.

I know they came out of nowhere score wise. I am glad that both Imbue and opus passed fantasia, they should have been scoring higher then them at the SD regional! I do find it funny too.. I knew fantasia would end up back to back with First Flight and darn it SAC and Zydeco were almost back to back lol

watched black watch at the latest regional and definitely liked what they were doing with the sheer fabric, involving it in tosses, etc.. I do not like the change. Feels like they just recycled last years work but in white this time.. They definitely should go back to what they were doing at the last regional!

I absolutely love Paramount. I definitely think they are not getting scored high enough and definitely deserve a spot in finals. At the SD Regional I really enjoyed rancho buena vista HS, they manipulated the flag silks very well and over all just a fun show. Imbue serves up some amazing color guard. very solid performance. Lastly Chino was a big stand out. Amazing show and performers. They had a ruff run but they still have lots of room to grow!

Braddock's flags ??? Someone PLEASE explain them too me. It is so distracting!!!!! With all those diff colors and patterns. PS Fantasia finally gave in and changed their ending!

it is very much similar to the Alliance of miami shows we have all seen. Im still on the fence about Logan. I prefer both Flanagan and carmel over them. Cant wait to see what is gonna happen with top 5. I hope it changes each round to keep us all on our toes!

exactly! like I said in another forum, the props do not have anything to do with their show. They are just there for the sake of tricks

They are doing the a lot of the same thing they did with the same exact props they used last year. Only difference is instead of a mirror its a rectangle

I really like Identity, I can definitely see them ending up in the top 5, such a strong show

I called it last year! I said O2 will do well, likely medal and be bumped right back up to where they belong! Back in world! They should have never dropped down. Love Juxta this year, great show!

I am officially tired of the song "This Bitter Earth" seems like everyone is doing that song this year! UGHH! Other then that, it will be quite interesting if First Flight goes on after Fantasia and if Zydeco goes on after Blessed Sac.. lol

Loved Braddock, very strong, it kind of reminds me of an "Onyx" approach to the show, but i like how they do it! There are a lot of random moments but what separates them from what Onyx does it they have a lot of ensemble moments! Love this show! First flight was amazing, their flag work is just beautiful. I am a big fan of this show and how strong the kids spinning are! Not a big fan of Orlando visual, they are doing some cool stuff, but WAY too cluttered, there show would be a lot better in my opinion if they got rid of the props. there is absolutely no need for those props. I think they are relying a lot on the props and the tricks, and I would prefer a much more polished look. But they are very entertaining! Loved Paramounts set design, by far the best in the last few years. I really enjoyed the show, very mature and I think they should have switched places with Orlando visual. they have a lot of room for improvement. I really hope this show makes finals. thats it so far!

well i can understand your point! It made several people in my group very uncomfortable. One of the girls there even said, "what is next, are they gonna dress up like muslim and have two towers as props and take them down?" I guess some people who have connections to such an emotional event may feel like its inappropriate. I mean we have all seen plenty of Schindler's List shows, in fact, I love First Fights this season. So I pose this question, is it okay to do a show from the victims standpoint, i.e. memorial for the jews who killed during WW2, those soldiers who were lost in WW2, 9/11, anywhere, but not okay to do it from the other sides point???? b/c I think people may thing they are glorifying what the Nazi's did!? (I personally dont feel they are, was just wondering what people were thinking)
