  1. So maybe my eyes are playing tricks on me, but those look kinda like Madison's drum major uni from 2008. Is it just me?
  2. Well if it's last call, I'll take a jack & coke. No coke, please.
  3. I love this topic! Greens all around!
  4. Methinks we've found the successor to the wildly popular lolcorps thread! As someone else said . . . MOAR!!!
  5. Yeah, definitely not the right time to bring up the corps v. band thing. I'm just glad everyone is safe. Prayers to the bus driver for a speedy recovery.
  6. x2 Edit: But seriously though. No tenor line? That seems crazy. Just seems to me that a drumline without tenors would just sound "wrong." Anyway, best of luck Pio, hope you have a great season!
  7. So, I've seen the threads that have happened talking about P90X and whether it would be beneficial or not to a drum corps. What about Insanity? It is nearly all cardio, with some body-weight resistance training. Seems to me like it would work better than P90X, just based on this fact alone. Then you add in all the work you do on your abs, hip flexors, quads, hamstrings, etc. and perhaps you have a recipe for drum corps fitness success! I've gone through Insanity before, and am currently doing a P90X/Insanity hybrid because I want to gain upper-body strength and such. P90X feels like a workout at the gym. Insanity to me feels like a good old-fashioned drum corps ###-kicking. If you haven't done it before, the program certainly lives up to its name. Thoughts? Pros? Cons?
  8. I hated Accutane. I was on it when I was in high school, and it made me super depressed. I've never had any mood issues before or after that stuff. Plus, I DEFINITELY wouldn't want to be taking it while being in the sun for 12 hours a day.
  9. Incorrect. The members don't care at all. P.S. practices aren't for your entertainment. They're for getting better. Performances are what you want.
  10. Though you have to admit it'd be pretty #### cool if they WERE raised like spartans!
  11. You are right, it does now. Under the inactive ingredients. Why did they have to change it?! WWWWWHHHHHYYYYYYY?????!!!!!!
  12. Edit: DCT only has sunscreen and petrolatum in it. Lip Medex has menthol though. We were always told not to use Lip Medex during the day, I don't know if it's because of the camphor, menthol, whatever. I did notice though that whenever I would use it, my range would be shot the next day. Don't know why.
  13. Dearest Mr. Boo: Normally, I have great respect for your opinions and well-written articles. However, I cannot stand idly by and allow these atrocities to happen on hallowed football fields (especially blue ones) during the summer months. The fact that one musical atrocity (Glee) has covered yet another musical atrocity (Friday/Rebecca Black) would be something that would violate all that DCI stands for. Forget G Bugles, A&E, Woodwinds, etc., THIS will be the straw that breaks the camel's back. We as the drum corps community must stand against the evil that is represented in these musical shenanigans. Do not allow DCI to be killed by this nonsense! Mr. Boo, I eagerly await the time when you come back to your senses. Sincerely, BroncoTrooper P.S. Before all of the Boo-Birds (see what I did there?) come out of the woodwork, this post is entirely in jest. Sort of. In order to further convey the tone of the message, I shall now make heavy use of this emoticon:
  14. Click It's called Daily Conditioning Treatment, but I always called it Drum Corps Treatment.
