Honestly I think you have best estimation on scores. I saw some rather odd looking scores like almost in the 80's... So I will have to agree with these scores... plus I like to see cavies first

I am hoping that there will be a great turn out at these upcoming shows so that the whole G7 thing wont take effect at all... I am looking forward to seeing these shows sadly I have to wait till the Houston shows to see them but its all well and worth it. More or less I hope that The Cavaliers have a great show this year!

You know looking at more of these pictures the new uniform has really grown on me some more. At first I thought the backside of the uniform wouldn't look all that great on the field but now as I look at it... it seems to look pretty good! Still not 100% for them but i'll take it.

My good sir... I laugh in your general direction! Other than that why are you bringing race into the dcp thread? That has nothing to do with DCI. Are you saying we are corps racist? I do not understand your logic at all... And I am pretty sure that no other corps actually care about placements... they are marching for the experience and NOT for placement! That is all...

I see your point but a lot of people make estimations on what happened last season. I have an idea of what might happen next year, but the one thing I do not like is what you just typed "You must know the winner then." All I can say is that we can all deal without that. If you don't have something nice to say then don't say it at all... its only going to cause problems.

I actually know what you mean my director in high school would post stuff like he marched with The Cavaliers or Phantom Regiment but no one knew who the cavies or phantom was. So I decided to run for a spot in the band council and I got in. The job of the council really is meant for thinking up good activities for the band to do. So I decided to make up "DCI Night" I remember when I brought it up no one had any clue what DCI was so I had to present what it was in the next meeting. They of course really enjoyed it and my idea was born. I remember how much I promoted it. And the best part of it all is that it had a great turn out! more than half of the band showed up, and I come from a 5A school so I was pleased. But more or less I think directors should let kids know what DCI is... but I had to figure it out on my own...

I know exactly what you mean when high school kids don't know what drum corps is. Its rather depressing really. Even at my college only a handful of us actually know what a drum corps is. I try my best to promote it but sadly no one really cared to even try to watch shows online or even listen to it. I also find it sad that I know more about DCI than my director who actually marched in a corps. I think we as fans need to find a way to promote it as best as we can before something tries to...

I was about to say the same thing!

You know really at this show it doesn't matter who gets first or last because for one the season has not started and second of all when the season starts its to hard to predict what might happen in the future... look at 08 or even 09 cavies were 2nd most of those two seasons and look what happened. I think the cavies are going to put us into complete shock this year. So lets put it this way... some one on Friday night is going to get third, and I do not think its going to be The Cavaliers.
