It is the BOA Crowd..... plus, BD has been booed before, they can handle it. I think the shimmer of their medals distracts them from the booing.

The show tonight was pretty good. Section 641 is not the best for sound.....plus, DCI must figure that they need to have the audio piped into the house speakers....problem was that there is a slight delay. Best part was listening to the Star Alumni Corps.... no synth and pure Drum Corps. It was awesome..... and no mic for the soloist. LOVED the opener. Will be fun tomorrow night.

I was at the show, it was my second show of the year. As a late 90's age out, I am confused with the obsession of gee wiz electronics. It is really distracting to the audience having a nice brass or percussion moment take place and straining to hear the performance over the noise coming from the speakers. Enough already, this experiment has not worked. The Bari in the mic with the trumpet???? Why?? We should get rid of tubas all together and add one more bass guitar or keyboard.....that way we could have more guard!!!Really? is that where we are headed??? it seems that somehow WGI has infiltrated drumcorps. How did this craziness happen? The sad part of it is that the players today seem to have more talent than 10 years ago yet the product is lower quality. I hope purity finds it's way back into drumcorps...... The kids and the instruments. Just my 2 cents. Jonathan
