Awesome thanks 😀 anyone know what their repertoire is? (CorpsReps doesn't have it yet.)

Found this earlier in the thread (from Fran): 9:00pm Govenaires Shanghai Festival Corps 9:15pm Rocketeers 9:30pm Brig Juice 9:45pm Bridgemen 10:00pm Freelancers 10:15pm Star United That's official, right? (Also what's the story behind "Shanghai Festival Corps"?)

Interesting question. I'm guessing they just mean it's the Taxi arrangement of Georgia on My Mind, based on this: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=7BnZBqAWx8E

I'd also like to know what the Mini Corps schedule is. I'm seeing all the I&E schedules on DCA's site but no schedule for Mini Corps. I'm guessing it starts at 8:30 or later just because all the I&E schedules show that scores/awards are available at 8:30.

Scout House In DCA Alumni Show For 14th Time
Corps Scores replied to DCP NewsFeed's topic in DCA - All-Age Corps Discussions
Dumb question: The "Crusaders Senior D&B Corps" is the Boston Crusaders Alumni rather than the Rochester Crusaders Alumni, correct? -

Not that I can find anywhere. Found a guy who periscoped most of the Everett MA show. He scoped the full retreat, but not the scores. :(

2016 DCA - Latest Scores
Corps Scores replied to Gary Matczak's topic in DCA - All-Age Corps Discussions
Thanks, I see them now, but they weren't there when I posted. The URL changed as well, from http://dcacorps.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/bayonne-summary.pdf to http://dcacorps.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/bayonne-sr.pdf. -
2016 DCA - Latest Scores
Corps Scores replied to Gary Matczak's topic in DCA - All-Age Corps Discussions
Any idea what's up with the summarized recaps at: http://dcacorps.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/bayonne-summary.pdf Please tell me DCA hasn't suddenly decided to follow DCI's lead by not posting full recaps? -

Drumscorps can't post scores if DCI hasn't already. -

I keep falling asleep.... Ugh.... -
I loved Boston Crusaders' Animal Farm. Once I saw the G7 formation at the Premiere, I knew exactly what they were trying to communicate. It might have been a little...self-referentially political...but it's another good example (to me) of how a corps can take a well-known story and design an understandable show around it, and even twist it a bit in a clever way to make a statement.

Grand Pix got cancelled
Corps Scores replied to Florida Sun's topic in DCA - All-Age Corps Discussions
Unofficial and incomplete, but here's what I've heard/got so far: Fusion-81.1 Cadets2-78.75 Sunrisers-73 -
Yep and Mountain Standard Time = Pacific Daylight Time, so we're stuck waiting for essentially two sets of west coast scores. I'm always happy when the corps get over the Rockies. Posting scores in EDT while having a 9-5 makes it hard to get good sleep.

Drums on Fire - Tigard, Or
Corps Scores replied to Madera Dons's topic in DCI World Class Corps Discussions
Is Tigard a scored show? There's some Oregon show that's always exhibition. -
Big week-end coming up
Corps Scores replied to Florida Sun's topic in DCA - All-Age Corps Discussions
I swear I heard 81.55 for Bucs in the stadium. Maybe it was a mis-tally? -
Oregon Crusaders 2016 "Hunted"

I hear their show is mostly park and bark. Sorry! -
OFFICIAL DCI FINALS THREAD
Corps Scores replied to ZachDrumCorps's topic in DCI World Class Corps Discussions
Yes, it's true, for the bottom 6. Clearly Blue Knights & SCV's scores were in the process of being updated at the time.I took a screenshot on my phone (which I still have) and tweeted it to DCI. I probably wasn't the first. Within seconds the scores were hidden again, and I deleted my tweet. But yes, the scores were accurate and were accidentally open to the public while Bluecoats were performing. I waited until they were announced to tweet them because I didn't want anyone to be upset with me or to embarrass DCI, but as soon as Crossmen's score was announced and it matched the screenshot, I knew the scores were correct. -
Legitimate question for discussion
Corps Scores replied to hughesmr's topic in DCI World Class Corps Discussions
This was fun to investigate. Leaving out the Div 2-3 Corps (hopefully), here's what I see for opening scores in the DCI era (1972 or later), and assuming CorpsReps is right (tenuous): 1975 Cavaliers - 81.8 on 6/4/1975 (http://www.corpsreps.com/scores.cfm?view=scoreshow&showid=1975115) 1973 Royal Crusaders - 80.6 on 5/28/1973 (seems suspect but http://www.corpsreps.com/scores.cfm?view=scoreshow&showid=1973133) 1972 27th Lancers - 79.65 on 5/26/1972 (http://www.corpsreps.com/scores.cfm?view=scoreshow&showid=1972125) 1985 Blue Devils - 79.1 on 6/15/1985 (http://www.corpsreps.com/scores.cfm?view=scoreshow&showid=1985011) 1977 Blue Devils - 78.9 on 6/23/1977 (http://www.corpsreps.com/scores.cfm?view=scoreshow&showid=1977124) 1984 Santa Clara Vanguard - 78.7 on 6/16/1984 (http://www.corpsreps.com/scores.cfm?view=scoreshow&showid=1984012) 1997 Blue Devils - 78.5 on 6/20/1997 (http://www.corpsreps.com/scores.cfm?view=scoreshow&showid=1997128) 2002 Cadets - 78.4 on 6/22/2002 (http://www.corpsreps.com/scores.cfm?view=scoreshow&showid=2002192 -- note that it was Cadets' first show and they took 2nd to Cavaliers with 81.3, but Cavaliers had several shows beforehand with lower scores) 1978 Santa Clara Vanguard - 78.1 on 6/29/1978 (http://www.corpsreps.com/scores.cfm?view=scoreshow&showid=1978002) 1975 Phantom Regiment - 78.0 on 6/4/1975 (http://www.corpsreps.com/scores.cfm?view=scoreshow&showid=1975115 -- Phantom took 2nd at the same show Cavaliers scored the highest opening score ever) I thought the 1975 scores were a little suspect because of the date (6/4 is pretty early for a DCI show), but FromThePressBox has the same scores, just on 6/14/75, so I guess they're legit. -
I'm probably the one to blame for that. I don't visit DCP that often, and I didn't want to keep checking back daily to see if DCA had provided additional information about what happened. So I had clicked on the "Follow This Topic" button up there, which sends me emails every time someone posts to the thread. In my original post requesting that the thread be shut down, I also was a bit snappy about the fact that I was getting tons of emails about the beers of Eastern PA and no answer to "the mystery". 2B wasn't the original annoyed party; I was. ("BigW" communicated that he didn't like my tone, so I erased that part of my post.)
