BD doesn't offer variety. Not since 2007. It's the same junk every year. Good talent wasted. Sometimes less is more but in BD's case less means snore.

I just hate what the Blue Devils are doing to drum corps. When I marched I remember losing soooo much weight because the show was so difficult. We were jazz running at 212 bpm playing runs. That's what drum corps should be. I appreciate anyone who could do that. I just feel like BD is being praised for being lazy and just calling it "innovative."

While people are hating on you for your post, don't worry. Many people feel the same but there's nothing you can do about it. There are too many posts with the same topic. I can't stand BD's show either. I have resorted to considering 2nd place the new 1st place. Crown won last night in my mind as well as hundreds of others.

The Blue Devils don't make me angry because they win all the time. They make me angry because their shows are the same crap every year and it's not entertaining anymore. 2007 was an amazing year. The Blue Devils aren't in it for the fans, just the trophy. When I watch shows from Crown, Blue Stars, Bluecoats, as well as others, it's obvious they are trying to make an incredibly entertaining show for the audience first and worry about the scores second. Yeah, unfortunately I think that the battle for 12th will be intense. I hope the Blue Stars can hurry and GTFO and move up out of that mess.

I don't think the problem is so much that the Blue Stars are falling but that lower corps are rising. The competition is pretty good this season. I'd love to see the Blue Stars continue to get better.

I do agree with SOME of this. It should have been obvious to SOMEONE that this would happen. This activity is a lot of money, time and effort. This is very disappointing and someone should have been doing their job better.

No way. i understand that the placing of the Cavies is strange at the moment but there is no way that they are "in danger of missing finals." I seriously doubt that they'll even be below Spirit by the time finals comes around.
