  1. They should do "The Matrix". Play selections like; "Sweet Dreams (are made of this)" from Sucker Punch, "Requiem for a dream" by Clint Mansell, Rob Dougan's "Clubbed to Death"and "Nothing at All". Of course the big moment of the show will be the BLUE or RED Pill -- the design team would have fun with this. Guard flags could represent which color Neo picks. pipe some Morpheus vocals through the speakers. The show would be like a mix between samarai and 007. just some of my ideas. I could see the cavaliers doing something like this.
  2. A lot of new things going on with the Cascades. Wish it could have happened sooner instead of waiting two months till tour starts, but im feeling pretty confident that this is the right direction. New executive director, tour director and program director on the corps webpage. http://www.seattlecascades.org/
  3. Cavaliers 1995 "The Planets" Madison Scouts 1999 "Jesus Christ Superstar" Phantom Regiment 1996 "A Defiant Heart" (I really want to see those all black uniforms again!)

  5. Please vote for the "Northwest Youth Music Association" (Cascades Drum & Bugle Corps). We are starting a new Drum and Bugle corps in Vancouver, WA.
  6. Cadets = Whole show Cavaliers = seeing performers on the stilts, upside down sups and tenors. Performers jumping over each other.....classic! Carolina Crown = eruption brass section Phantom Regiment = Company front to the end without a drum major and all the kick halts. Santa Clara Vanguard = Opening statement with the yellow flags "imagine you're in hell and you want out..." BAM! Bluecoats = Brass playing creep Blue Knights = Always have enjoyed the musical selections this group produces Madison = opening hit and closer Spirit of Atlanta = Ending unfortunately these are the only performances that I saw live when I had the chance to watch during finals.
  7. 1) "When You Believe" - from The Prince of Egypt 2) "A Whole New World" - Aladdin 3) "Men of Honor" - Randy Edelman http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T9ys9gBM8Io&feature=related 4) "Main Title" - Apollo 13, James Horner http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=123IpZoQJq4&feature=fvst
  8. Wouldn't it be kind of cool now that the space program is kinda dissolved (Discovery was the last mission) that a corps would do a space show next year. That would be pretty cool! Have some Apollo 13 music!
  9. I would like to see these some day...... 1) "Requiem For a Dream" - Lux Aeterna (would be awesome for an opener or a closer) 2) "My Heart Will go On" - Seline Dion (This would be such a cool ballad, PR - you should have used this for Juliet) 3) "Con te Partiro" - Andrea Bocelli (Another awesome ballad) 4) "The battle for Endor" - John Williams (ik, a star wars soundtrack..... It has to come someday. It's suck an awesome piece) 5) "Flight to Neverland" - John Williams (Could be used for some air/ascension/Angels theme) 6) "Final theme/main titles Apollo 13 - James Horner (would be very good for some kind of space show) 7) "Agent of Chaos" - Hans Zimmer/James Newton Howard (maybe a drum feature? Good for an evil type show) 8) "The Battle" - Harry Gregson-Williams (Awesome song from Chronicles of Narnia) 9) "You Raise Me Up" - Josh Groban (Another awesome ballad) 10) "Clubbed to Death/Chateau" - Rob Dougan (An awesome drum feature?) 11) "Killer Angel" - Randy Edelman (Ballad) 12) "In the Hall of the Mountain King" - Edvard Grieg 13) "Ride of the Valkyries" Richard Wagner
