Old Corps Guy

No one else started one...... We are just a little over a week away from opening night. This is the first time that I won't make it to the theater since I have to play my own gig that night. It is also unfortunate that we won't be able to see it any other time than "live" in the theaters. I will have to live vicariously through all of you. So, I will be tracking the comments here on DCP between sets at my gig. A few questions to start the conversation........ Where are you going to see it? Which corps intrigues you the most? Are you going with a group? Teachers, are you getting your band students together to see this in the theater? Here's to a wonderful kick-off and an amazing season.

Why is it that the only DCA corps we don't have titles for is a corps that has already done their spring preview? I guess we will all know this Saturday.

We're the ones hosting BD before they head up to Allentown. I've been trying to work it out with my boosters to have Fran announce our band show for years. They keep going with the local announcer (who is good as well). One of these years Fran, I'll make it work.

Since my wife doesn't follow drum corps and I am an FMM, I will agree that the lyrics are perfect for this show. Anyone tells my wife and I will challenge her to actually come on this site and learn to appreciate drum corps. After all, it is "My Way"
