    It's a smaller ensemble. The hall they were playing in is fairly small and definitely couldn't handle the whole corps.

    I heard the Academy on Friday play the 'Rite of Spring' part of their show (2/3 of the whole show). I think we can all admit that we have no idea what will happen with placements this summer. But if anything's certain it will be that the Academy will blow you all away.

    I think it'd be cool if each corps had a beat writer like sports teams do. Maybe have an article every few days talking about the corps progress throughout the season.

    Academy is marching 16 contras

    The design of the horns are great. Sam & Pat did a wonderful job for Jupiter. Nonetheless, they are made out of really cheap brass and are put together poorly. I have never met with a band director who's hornline is outfitted with Jupiter who did not have valve issues.

    Andre Feagin going to the Academy will bring a good amount of students from UTEP/ the greater El Paso area to Audition for the Academy. I think this will go a long way in them getting into finals in 2012.
