So there's a drum corp in San Marcos Texas starting up called The Guardians. The corp director is barely a college sophmore. Anyone wanna shed light?

If you look at rankings, theyre, technically, in 10th place. Just wait till a regional. It'll all change.

I marched when Crossmens Drum Major in 07 was a rookout. Then he became my band director the next year. Awkward lol

Um, no. They haven't sorry to break it to ya.

Though the corps is making what everyone calls a "comeback", the show is not demanding musically or visually. This might be a part of it.

Revolution scored a 84 at their last show. Music City a 75. And Revo is smaller. Even though scores don't matter to you, you are really putting your corp on a pedestal. To say the musical package of the program is TOP 12 in world class? I cant see that sorry. I've seen the show live and it is not as demanding as Colts, Academy, Pacific Crest or Cascades.

Crossmen: Rewrite parts of the drill that are obviously not working, especially in the ballad. Speed up the tempo of the opener and face the stands, not backfield. Work the mellos because they are so far the weakest section of the corp. Speed up the tempo of the closer.

Crossmen Hallelujah... tremendous sound and so LUSH!

genesis setting up. nice uniforms. very colorful.

forte on now.doing a nice job for being a young corp. needs a lot of work. percussion overpowers whole corp.
