Sports goes like this: Dallas Cowboys win the Superbowl, Cowboys merchandise goes up significantly that year. That being said, I would really like to see the Cavaliers souvenir sales this year from years past... I hope they are the same, or up- but I think we all know that can't be true.

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned (pardon not reading through 38 pages) But what about all of us helping out by buying a t-shirt on their website? Kind of a flash-mob-help thingie It won't get the corps back on the field this year but it will help in other ways!

They will be too high in brass, percussion and guard to miss.

REALLY? I always thought it would be around 5 to ten percent of UW's band- crazy!!

I know this isn't '12 related- sorry Thinking about '13- how cool would it be if they played the '03? show again- ten years later? (GASP- it's been TEN years next year already????)

BD know what they're doing- they do stuff so "out there" are far removed from the traditional show that judges can do nothing but to give them high scores. It's really brilliant when you think about it

Yeah- I know it's a bit odd what I said. And I agree with you not agreeing or disagreeing As much as I want money not to be an issue at all for any corps- it's nice to know that if you get your tickets moderately early to any show, you will have a seat inside the 40's and it will never be sold out. There is an odd threshold with my view- I want HUGE crowds at shows, but I don't want it TOO big. I always have this anxiety about people who go to their first show and are sitting on the 5 or 10 yard line and saying; "What the hell is the big deal?"

Am I the only one who doesn't want DCI to get any more popular? I went to 2 shows in Los Angeles last year where there were NO seats left- people were sitting in the back. What if you went to your first show and sat in the back? Part of what makes DCI special is that only a select few of us are into it. I know that sounds a bit odd, but...

What does DCI do with such a quick show? I think every Corps should do a stand still before or after, that's so short!!

It ties to the beginning- comes full circle. It's perfection! Love the ending. No, it' s not your classic LOUD ending, and the crowd didn't know when to clap- but they will after a few shows, and the responses will be strong.

Just got back from the show- GREAT night! Surprise of the night was Boston- they were incredible. I thought it was going to be tough for them to follow BD- but they did it and more! SCV had the crowd tonight- easy. They are easily going to be a crowd favorite everywhere. I like BD's show a lot this year- it's so dang unique are there are fantastic melodies throughout. BK was a little weak brass wise tonight- are they young? I like the show- but a little too much synth for me. Some VERY cool visual/artistic stuff in this show- GREAT snare line!!! The Mandarins- I don't know what the staff are thinking. WHY. I feel bad for the kids- honestly. The corwd had no idea how to react to this show- it started excellent, and then got just so "Out there" Pacific Crest- great show tonight! I'm glad this corps is out of the dark and depressing stage that they liked to be in. I'll add some pictures tomorrow before I head up to Stanford!

I need to figure out how to post on my phone! If BK, Pacific Crest, and the Mandarins are rockin', this is going to be a GREAT show! Hoping they all come out strong.

Just came from watching SCV do a run at Clovis East high school- some DARN good music happening!
