I had to replay the Madison show because I thought I saw a colorguard member running across the snares. On the replay he did! Amazing!

I connect the computer to the tv and then connect the headphone jack on the computer to my surround sound/DVD player. Otherwise all sound has to be at max volume as previously discussed in this thread.

In my experience as a color guard Mom, this is common at every indoor competition, no matter what the team or level. In my opinion, it's a colorguard thing. And yes, if they are near you it can be distracting.

I attended the Akron show by myself, 400 miles each way, and attend Indy every year by myself. Being a single Mom it's what I have to do. Is it expensive, yes, but I let my heart make the decisions. My daughter is shocked and surprised to see me and just being able to see her makes the trek worth it. I stock up on books on CD. What I find is that there is always conversation in the stands, in the line waiting to get in, at the souvie stands, etc. You can do it!!!

Jersey Surf has been hit with a boil water advisory. This means that they need bottled water for the corps for the duration of the tour. Please go to their website or Facebook page to help them defray this cost. It is $1000.00 PER DAY! Please share the love.

Please help! Jersey Surf's housing site is under a boil water advisory. They are having to spend $1000.00 a day to keep the corps hydrated. Please give!

At least one housing site in Indy is under a boil water advisory. They will need to purchase water for the duration of the week. I only know of Jersey Surf in Brazil IN. But if there are others please stop by and drop some cash. This is one on those expenses that cannot be foreseen.

Thank you!! The feeling in the stands was electric last night. The ovation went on until Surf left the field. Those kids certainly felt the loved being bestowed on them from the Allentown crowd.

They are a new corps, weekend only and it was their 4th performance ever. Taking that into consideration they put a very good show onto the field and should be extremely proud. They will be a corps to watch!

I think they found their niche.
