So many fun nuances in this PC show. It is one of my favorites even when they don't wear unis! Great sound and look.

Yikes. Glad you were OK. It is just further evidence of how very important electrolytes are and that water alone doesn't cut it when conditions are extreme.

I had hyponatremia on a multi-day bike ride. I was drinking all kinds of water but there was no sodium in my body to retain it so it just flushed out as quickly as I drank it. It is a very serious condition. Let's hope they all drink plenty of gatorade and eat some salty chips!

My disappointment is entirely selfish... I thought I made that clear... lol. I know it was the right thing to do.

I remember that brew ha ha. Shirtless guys and/or gals in sports bras were frowned upon in certain areas. Most corps have a white tee shirt and section shorts type of combo they use for performances like this. Some may even opt for headwear.

I'm wondering if the lack of being scored will take some pressure off... and just let them have fun out there and possibly discover something in the performance that wasn't there before... ? Dunno. I am searching for something positive to say as I am dealing with the disappointment of no scores. :( It was definitely the right call.

I know I thought the same thing when I read 'plenty of water for sale'... you'd think they'd be giving it away in these dire circumstances.

Clearly, it's a 400 lb guy in his bedroom who is hacking the sheets.

Well I really liked the 'Borg Collective' reference in the title of this thread and have wondered about these types of things myself, when it comes to judging - BUT when the ubiquitous term 'fake news' was brought in, I was like whaaaa?

It was BK? I knew one of the corps helped, didn't know which one.

Trend: Start out with headwear. Remove headwear at some point during the show. Next year: no one will bother with headwear.

BD reaches into the stands and grabs you by your chest buttons like no other corps. Just incredible.

Is it me or is the camera work deteriorating? Well anyway, I'm not gonna lie, I REALLY miss Phantom's helmets.

The Cadets' show deserved better camera work! The vocal ensemble is a powerful contribution. Would be nice to actually see them while they are singing. I always love what the Cadets put on the field and in spite of the sweeping changes experienced by the organization this year, they've produced yet another beautiful, touching show. Nicely done!

Wow. Definitely one of my favorite Blue Stars shows in awhile. But then I am a sucker for Carpenters music. Great interaction with the props. Interesting and fun concept for a show.

Love this brass book from the Mandarins. Beautiful. Interesting nuances. Fresh. Has its own sound. My first full read of this show. Wow. What a great follow up to last year. This corps is going places.

My favorite from Spirit since at least 2014 if not further back.

OC could use some love, prayers, positive thoughts, whatever you do best. On the way to the Denver show they had an accident. The color guard bus rear ended the brass bus due to a sudden stop the entire fleet needed to make. I don't know all the details but I know some performers were not in the show last night because of this accident. There were minor injuries as well as shock reactions and at least one other corps stepped up after the show to assist in getting OC to their next housing site. I believe everyone is all right but I have to give them a big thumbs up for performing as if nothing happened last night! I didn't know any of this until today. Also, I have searched three times for the Oregon Crusaders 2018 thread and can't find it so I posted here.

Same. Some good shows for one month and then end the subscription. Overall, the quality is better than last year but I'd like to see the coverage of soli and features improve - if possible.

I haven't seen Genesis or Music City yet, and know nothing about their shows, so hence the anxiety. Perhaps seeing them on flo today will help. BDB & VC nearly always edge OC in the semis in recent years - no surprise there. And the amazing shows coming out of other top tier open class corps like Legends make semis VERY interesting come Indy week. As for design consulting.... nope my phone never rings. I think I could design a fabulous show for the Couchmen!
