  1. I'm going to need to hire some design help to get me into the top 12 for the night show.
  2. At first I was startled the fire re-appeared. Then I was thinking about being in survival mode - fire is important. A big fire, however, burns more wood/witches than a small fire. To conserve on wood gathering / witch trial activities while on a remote island, might be best to keep the flames to a minimum level suitable for roasting fish, and after dinner smores.
  3. I had a great time last night. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the theater experience. Thank you to all the corps for their preparedness. I know the shows weren't fully complete, but I found all the corps entertaining. No judging comments, just fan enjoyment.
  4. ...you must be excited for the 1st show and all... Wish you all the best.
  5. Anybody in Marietta GA area going to AMC 24 Barrett Commons?
  6. This beast must be the killer rabbit. Death awaits you all, with nasty, big pointy teeth.
  7. That depends. Do you know where you are?
  8. Yes...sorry, being too obscure - I was trying to be funny by attaching the "14 days" rather than a usual "...score highest" comment for "whatever Jeff said." Sometimes, things are funny to me, and maybe only to me. Perhaps I need to learn when to refrain.
  9. 1. SCV 2. CC 3. BD 4. BAC 5. Cadets 6. Bc 7. Cavs 8. BK 9. PR 10. BS 11. Crossmen 12. Mandarin
  10. I believe Bruckner's assertion was more along the lines that a corps hasn't won their 1st championship without first "earning it" by demonstrating "worthiness" through placing in the top three before being "allowed" to win.
  11. Has anybody heard extended jazz sections in the show?
  12. Welcome SOA Dad. I'm wishing your son and you nothing but greatness. I live near ATL, but not an alum. Brave of you to start the corps' 2018 thread. You will get hype and disdain all at the same time. Steel yourself! I fully believe the organization is on an upward trajectory as you mentioned. They have reorganized, so the structure is in place. Now, each year, they have to change what didn't work the previous year. Adapt and change. I haven't heard about vet retention - does anybody know? This year I foresee them raising the demand level of their show, and stepping up execution.
  13. Hi, and welcome. What a great intro - awesome things in store for BAC, your son, and you this year...my prediction anyway.
