I agree. BD 2008 was the best non-championship show that followed a championship year. HMs are BD 1981 and BD 1983.

Solid, unison catches facing the front sideline (and no grabbing the blade when you should be on the hilt). Shows that need to be practiced, not just members wandering around with some kind of emotion on their face while waving around whatever piece of equipment is in their hand.

In 1980, Spirit was third in prelims but Bridgemen were third in finals. Off the top of my head, the other corps that have been top-3 that haven't won (and are still active) are Blue Stars and Troopers.

I watched this on Tuesday. It was a great story. The band was fortunate that the uniforms were at the dry cleaner when the Colts moved out. If you look closely, you can see a snare is wearing a Troopers t-shirt in one quick shot.

I think George only wrote Star's drill in 1985, 86, 90 and 91. He might have written 1989, too. I know his last year writing their drill was 1991.

That is not correct. There's a typo on DCI's site. Notice that Scouts placed 6th. So their score is somewhere between 79.15 and 83.70.
