I don't think you will be disappointed! Camps have been spectacular so far, and the brass book is amazing. No one will complain that there isn't enough brass music in the show this year!

Who will make the biggest jump this season?

From what we have seen so far, the sky is the limit this year with the concept given to the corps. -

Look out for the Colts! They're off to a great start so far this winter! Program that is planned sounds amazing! -
It's been great start to the season for the Colts! Show concept sounds awesome (sorry, can't reveal info) and they have had tremendous numbers at camps (students have been told possibly the best the Colts have ever had)!

Troopers 2015: "Wild Horses"

IMO, Colts did more at the end to pull ahead of Troop. Love Troop but Colts definitely deserved to be ahead of them. -

Goosebumps watching this promotional video for 2015!! Music in 2014 was awesome! http://www.youtube.com/user/DubuqueColtsMedia -
Look out for the Colts in 2015! Not only is the entire design team coming back but all caption heads are coming back as well! That continuity and their strong finish this past year, can only mean good things to come for 2015! Can't wait for the show announcement! http://colts.org/news/news.cfm?news_id=813

I'm sure there are going to props, props, and more props! -
http://colts.org/news/news.cfm?news_id=811 Great to see the Colts are keeping together the same design team for 2015 that they had for 2014! Hopefully this will help them continue to build on a great finish in 2014!

That is a big misconception about the non-top 12 corps that they are at a lesser talent level! Speaking as a parent of a current member, my wife and I couldn't be any happier about the experience that our son has had (and hopes to continue to have in future years). Members of the corps are challenged on a daily basis and want to succeed for themselves as well as for the people they have around them. If you are considering auditioning for them, definitely contact Vicki MacFarlane (director), and gather as much information as you can. It's shocking walking in the Six Flags Center in Dubuque in November and all of a sudden you see 300-400 other people your age trying out. It's a fantastic family type atmosphere and Vicki is wonderful and will answer any questions you may have if you email her.

Placements 12-18, Decided?
Front Ensemble Dad replied to recketscience's topic in DCI World Class Corps Discussions
Agreed. I probably should have used the word "tweek" instead of change. There really can't be any "major" changes at this time of year. They have also been cleaning and with three full rehearsal days this week, I would expect them to clean, clean, clean! -

I think there is definite room for movement especially 15 - 18. As far as 12 - 14, it's going to be tough to catch Crossmen but I really think Colts have a better shot than Troopers. There is so much growth still happening in the Colts show and I know they have been spending the last two days making changes/additions (not just cleaning) so we will have to see what they have in store as the next two weeks unfolds! -
I've been wondering the same thing, but I think it will end up being very good for the Red Team! They can go into Allentown with really very little pressure and just knock it out of the park, put up a great score, and let the others around them see that before performing on Saturday. Then, they can get themselves ready for the last few shows of the season and kick some butt at quarterfinals!

Maybe the corps at this show will be happy though to know where they actually are!

DCI Southeastern Championship Lineup
Front Ensemble Dad replied to yogitom's topic in DCI World Class Corps Discussions
Colts got the short end of the stick in SA after beating SOA for over a week and then having to go on two corps before them last night (which I'm still wondering if that affected their overall score). Glad to see there is some vindication this week! -
