I can't see Indy hotels backing a DCA show for a few (smaller) corps in lieu of losing so many banqueters (corps banquets seem to average 250+ participants including mms, staff, faculty, families, and fans.)

other that Raiders, there do not seem to be too many Eastern corps whose mission statement is principally for "training" for youth as compared to competitive success. I know 7th Regt. does have that included in its mission statement and has enjoyed the competitive success along the way. But moving southward from New England, all age corps (which could have as many or more adults as adolescents) and solely parade corps seem the only beginning option given that Surf is a World Class competitor.
