  1. Generally from a corps perspective there is a lot to a later step off (performance) time. If you are consistently on later in a show, your show day schedule is usually solidly planned; sleep, meal times, rehearsal, warm up, etc., etc. That does lead to optimum performances. Going on under the lights, just feels better as a performer. Better atmosphere. Going on early may not get you a large audience either. Sorry to say. Performance order may only impact the first corps on as far as numbers go, but I’m not sure it does these days. Performance order later in the season, probably doesn’t make a huge difference, if any especially to well seasoned corps. Unless there is a big separation in times. Say if BD were to go on first in SA, how would the numbers look if then say Bluecoats or Boston were the last 2 on? Just my $.02
  2. I would think going on later in Maine, to not be so great as weather turns colder. When the sun goes down, temps in New England can drop precipitously. We’ve all experienced 20 degree drops in a couple of hours.
  3. Yes tied with BAC at a 17.4 & .1 behind BD with a 17.5.
  4. I guess I get no musical correlation at all especially with the brass and perc writers /arrangers being so different in style
  5. No they are Michael Cesarios. Get over the crown baloney comparisons jeez.
  6. Just a little bit. Then their fired coach wins the Stanley Cup and was pictured today with it on the Cape!
  7. There’s the proof. Celtics and Bruins were supposed to take it all and both teams blew it. Fans were ripped.
  8. BAC alumni are watching closely. Quietly. That’s how lions are successful hunters and sailors successful fishermen. Mixing metaphors a bit, lol. Until you beat someone it’s best you stay quiet until you do. Then when you beat someone, be a respectful gracious winner. No matter what, this show is a benchmark for the end game in Indy.
  9. They use the touring time to add and layer the show. Take another look in a couple of weeks.
  10. Yeah ok. They are USA made! Check out 825 Brass.
  11. BAC has 2 days of rehearsals then a show in Ankeny on Wed., then 2 more days of rehearsal. Then Ft. Collins where they see BD.
  12. Sweet Caroline is an encore choice. TBH, I get tired of it because it gets played at every Red Sox game. Years and years and years of it.
  13. An opening set is anti climactic? Is that even possible?
  14. Gonna have to read about it with my morning coffee.
  15. Many factors at the Quincy show required several adjustments on the fly. But 17 minutes between corps was the target time for all groups.
