I was reading a post on the sub Reddit by the OP about how helpless he felt in the week between being cut and going home, how he felt isolated from staff and others, and how he felt that he didn’t deserve the resources afforded to abused members. He talked about how his tour experience was to be be threatened of being cut, told to work harder, then more threats of being cut, work harder, and so on until he was finally cut … and then the post was deleted. I am stunned at how absolutely horrific this young man’s experience was. It was obvious to me that he has been emotionally abused. He felt he didn’t deserve resources … The corps failed him, and may God have mercy on all those who contributed to this inexcusable lack of human decency.

Nope. Disagree on all counts. Crown North is just mocking in a snide Crown sort of way. I am a Bloo honk. I have no skin in this um, game? But Crown fans have just seemed petty and hypersensitive to anything Boston says or does. I really wish Crownies would just grow the #### up. They are the main reason I go to the hot dog stand when they are on the field. Not the the corps. Oh, and thanks for the lol on my previous post. You so funny.

Yeah, I changed my post … I felt I was being a little too self-aggrandizing … and you’re right … I was part of a couple of those corps that were open to virtually everybody for next to nothing. I too wish that was the reality of today’s corps.
