I guess for me it was on RAMD when he used a comment Rosie O'butthead made on her show to bolster his push for not using military implements ( rifles / sabers )in any manner connected to drum & bugle corps and how weapons send the wrong signal. After some questions about the flag code, he did finally admit they would follow the flag code. Really ? he watches Rosie O'donnal and uses HER ideas as a standard for drum corps ? Later, it was Mr. Hopkins use of Little Geoffery which IMHO, ruined one of the best shows.

I agree with you and MisterA 100%. Kudos to the management for real outlook for the kids. It's a shame it happened but at least they faced reality soon enough. As we have seen in the past, too many people try to keep going when they refuse to admit they can't. I hope all those kids can find a place to march next year.

While I must agree that the intonation today is far superior, I find it funny that people try and say today is as loud as BITD. Yea, it comes close but how many horns on the field today ( on average ) as compared to say, 1980 ?

What about fat kids ? Writers should slow the drills down so fat kids can march again.
