Some noticeable front to back issues with statesmen. Hopefully they can work out the new stadium sounds for tomorrow. Drumline gets more and more entertaining each year I see them. Guard had some nice vocab from what I could see on the stream.

Way to throw down Fusion. Very enjoyable show.

Hypemeister: Horns mid to high 20s, 3 tenors, 5 bases, 6 snares, 3 cymbals, 9 pit, guard in the low teens? That's what I'm seeing.

This is sad news but I know there is enough passion, hard work and dedication in this organization for it to come back successfully. We all look forward to seeing you on the field again.

Comparing scores between years and shows is pointless. It's all about the spreads baby!. In regards to the build-up scoring system, you'll drive yourself nuts trying to make sense of it. How many corps with their best Sunday sound and back to back rehearsal days will have their score stay the same or go down from Prelims to Finals? If your score doesn't move but you pass 2 corps the next show does it really matter what the number is?

Cru - As a huge Holst fan I love your book this year. I really liked the musical transitions. First time I've had the chance to sit in the stands to see you and I enjoyed it. Brigs - The ballad on the field was a goosebump moment! Really cool design and execution during that. Many thanks for the encore performance. I do not get enough opportunities to stand in front of a horn arc and I soaked it up. Bravo to both of you and all of the A Class corps I didn't get to see from the stands. Here's to a rain-free, hard-working August for all of us!

It's been too long since I've had the opportunity to say SHOW DAY on a saturday morning. Good luck to everyone in Endicot this weekend.

I don't want to sound like a pain but....I don't think I'm the only person out there that has flash turned off. At the moment there's no way to access the main page if you have flash off. A link at the bottom of the page is all that's needed. I have flash off for security reasons and as more spyware starts to use flash I'm sure more people will disable it in the future.

It wasn't the casual talking and socializing but the couple people who were screaming with high pitched voices that could clearly be heard in the upper deck. It was the worst during the first half of the ballad and I wonder if it will actually be audible on the recordings.

I believe the rule change to allow Bb in DCA was done for different reasons than it was in DCI. Without the major DCI corps buying G's the company's making them were liking to raise their price for less demand or stop making them in the long run. DCA's rule change was more of a look to the future where a DCA corps could possibly not afford G's. We changed the 128 marching members to not include Drum Majors but that's the only number change we did right? We can do moving unjudged warm ups but how often is that utilized? What other major changes am I missing? We don't have woodwinds at I&E this year do we? How many cymbal lines will we have in the top 10 this year? I'm hoping it's more than one compared to DCI.

I think too many people have taken the time to write a review and been #####ed at afterwards for anything negative they may have said. Why write DCA reviews when it appears you anger more people than please?

There is no caption for that....but you didn't see anyone complaining when Renegades came over last year with 73(?) horns and blew the house down. I think the slogan is...Loud is Good? "In music there is something called dynamics and to me the Brigs dont have them. They put out 70horns for the 5th year in a row and they just try to blow you away." That was a joke right? Their horn line is at a whole other level and to say they don't play with dynamics is a little out there. I've seen/heard them multiple times this year btw. "Next ill move to the guard they were good and clean however i dont know what campbells soup and Marilyn Monroe have to do with the Tommy." "(im not sure which one i wasnt paying much attention to the anouncer, he was no Fran Herring)" Maybe you should listen to the announcer...the show is called Pop Art. This isn't a marching band. A bit of an exageration I would think. The drill writer for Brigs writes for my marching band and we have at least 40-50 sets there each year. Also, I'll be ###### if you can call the drill from these last couple years simple. It may look easy if it's done at such a high level *shrugs* "Im sorry but having this show win is not good for DCA if thier going to progress then they need to cut out the shows where the biggest corps win because honestly its quality over quantity." You say the hornline "Loud and impressive"....the guard was "good and clean"....and the visual..."WOW thier clean". It sound as if they had a quality corps by YOUR words. How is that bad for DCA? I'm just sick of seeing people with a chip on their shoulder talk very highly of other corps and speak soo critically of Brigs no matter how good they may be. I find it hard to swallow how Brigs could have so much wrong with their show but everyone else you spoke greatly of with no comments on how they could improve their shows respectively. Maybe that does rub me the wrong way :P
