If BAC ever beat Crown this season I will eat a shako on video. Now Cavies are a different story. I still don't buy their show. Really like their drill and music, but everything else I'm not sold on and think BAC could definitely top in the end.

They've had some green planks since day one for that but they reflect the light and end up not having the intended effect. I assume they'll do something about that before Indi. I also have my money on the white planks and triangle platforms forming a crown at "I KNOW YOU!". What are the new props!?

I'm really curious if we see any changes tonight or if they just cleaned all week. Either way I'm expecting a big score.

I'll say that BD and Bloo have both followed their own respective formulas since 2014, with this year being the most egregious example of copying the previous year for both corps. I think both shows are better than their previous year, but both extremely similar in form, design, etc.

I think 9th-10th is realistic for them this year.

Here's my hot takes: Mandarins make finals, Madison does not Boston stays ahead of Cadets the rest of the season BK close in and really pressure Cadets for 7th, lead by their groovy drums Bloo falls to 4th when the big dogs all start meeting, pushes hard for a late season surge and finishes silver Crown continues fighting hard for a medal and holds off SCV BD go undefeated. All of that could change, but that's how I see the season shaking out from this point in time.

Thread has been quiet because Crown has had their heads down cleaning on a long stretch of no competition days. It'll surely heat up this weekend.

Wow, are they really adding 4 minutes? Sounds overwhelming for the kids at this point in the season.

I really enjoy this entire show more than last year (especially music), but I'm worried for Bloo's chances at a repeat if they don't start really cleaning. They can't afford to be visually dirty or musically loose like last year because their GE buffer is going to be a lot smaller if they can maintain it's momentum now.

Yeah, I don't know why people are STILL using the excuse of "Cadets still don't have a closer in, just wait". Their show is just as complete as the rest of World Class.

If Boston passes Cadets they'll stay ahead the rest of the season.

Funny story with props, last year at Lucas Oil on Saturday night Bloo was loading in their ramps and one wheel rolled off the sidewalk into the road, I dropped my bag and helped push it back up. I was wearing a Crown staff badge and the guys looked flabbergasted and thanked me a ton like it was a remarkable thing for another corps staff to help with something like that. I guess the props crews are pretty cutthroat.
