The rumors of your demise are premature. -
Jim did that last year! I’m like hey that’s the first row! He switched it. I can’t imagine how sore my neck would have been.

I wanted to brag on you. -
Shhhhh....
-
I know. We’re in the back row, too. Lol
-
Thanks. Good to know.
-
I wasn’t comparing anything about the talent level then to now. Of course, there’s no comparison. I was merely stating that corps made big leaps early on in DCI.

Good grief we were just having conversation. Please let us know what is acceptable to discuss.

This is all that’s been reserved at Regal Cantera Warrenville. Maybe walk ups?
-
This^^^. Emotional.

We have issues in Chicago, too, as I’m sure everyone has heard, but they are pretty isolated to the west, south side. Once in awhile you’ll hear about something happening in areas like river north, streeterville, but rarely.

The best one ever (I think) was 31st to tied for 10th. (‘75 -‘76).
-
That’s why I never do predictions. Those things can come back to haunt you.

I should never be allowed to type.

We weren’t shocked after we saw you guys at the Atlanta show. I knew you were going to kick our butt. I bought a t-shirt.
-
It should. It’s the Beatles 1964. It’s my favorite Beatles song.
-
Lol I can’t.
-
Yup yup yup. Sit back and ride the wave.
-
And?
-
Sounds amazing. The Lyric Opera of Chicago did it a few years back. Still kicking myself that I didn’t go.

Oh, they did make fun of everyone. It was hilarious. When I was marching, we wore that giant oatmeal box shako. When we passed Blue Devils in retreat, they had stacked two shakos on their heads when we went by. No one laughed harder than we did.
-
Blue Devils or the field?
