Everything was great except that stage. They used the stage in 2016, too but they lowered it and dumped it altogether by Atlanta. I remember because I started thanking my deity of choice.

That is exactly what happened with us. Looked at Hampton through Hilton because we’re Hilton honors people. Way more $$ than hotels.com. Somehow, miraculously, the Hilton.com price mirrored Hotels.com as we were getting ready to book the room.

I call it the Sally Jesse Raphael show.

Three nights of seeing the front ensemble, which was glorious, whoever was on stage, the tips of plumes and guard equipment...good times... Thankfully, that’s all behind us.

I’ll never forget the stubbornness with that stage in 2014. And there it was back in 2016...at least until Atlanta. Then it poofed.

I’m a lifelong Chicagoan who has never been to St. Louis. I’m going to give it a whirl.

OT: I must have gone completely brain dead because I had no idea there was a regional in St. Louis. We’re going to go. The flo schedule brought it to my attention. Still good seats left and rooms in downtown hotels available.

Yesterday, I noticed that they’ve added two more shows to the upcoming events. Muncie and Pasadena.

I don’t think going co-ed helped much at all. Most of the Kilts junior alums left in droves after ‘99. By their last year (2015), you could probably count the Kilts junior alums in that corps on one hand.
