Who will be doing the national anthem?

I'm genuinely interested to hear specifics about your opinion. I like The Cadets and have seen their show; I love it but I know it's not perfect (not many shows in June are). What do you think the biggest issues are?

Saw the show and was completely entertained! Already there are moments that just take your breath away. I understand the comment someone made about the vocals being organic - loved how they were woven into the music. Thoroughly enjoyed watching (story line was clear even without props and uniforms) and am looking forward to seeing it multiple times in order to take everything in and watch as they continue to progress.

One thing I'm 100% sure about this season with The Cadets: many will say the vocalists are too loud and also too quiet but their electronics, strangely, seem very mature and well-integrated from what I've heard! Which is not always the case lol

Now that performance times and full schedules are up for almost all shows, would there be a way to get these onto the app as well?

I can't believe some people are already making judgements on this show... it's not even done! It could be crap or completely magical. We should really wait for a public presentation. Then we can go crazy I'm hoping for an ambitious design that has an ability to grow, connect with audience, challenge the members, and pump out GE. But I'll have to wait for the 22nd like most of us to see if that's the case...

Were the vocalists in yet or are they still settling in?

I saw the "dresses" in motion (secrets source) and while at first they were slightly... Jarring, they're really very beautiful. Not in a feminine way either, just straight up beautiful. The way they wave in the sun is captivating and calming. Doesn't really look Cadets-y, but still.

I know for sure the Crossmen fact is incorrect. That makes it harder to believe the rest... Even though those are cool.

Are we gonna address how we feel about The Cadets new uniforms rumors now, or should we skirt around them until we see the whole thing?

Corps should do shows however they like, but both sides have to admit this is a transitional time in drum corps history right now. I believe this year will be the first year drum corps is closer to a performing art (musicals/operas/ballets) than the drum corps of the 1970s. This means that straight-forward, wholesome show themes might not have enough substance for judges, and are also, in a way, more risky and transparent. No one can say "that's not at all my experience with a snake eating itself," however the same can not be said with stories about veterans and doctors and such.

Another prediction: Bluecoats win GE, Crown wins the Ott, Cadets win the Sanford, SCV wins Visual, and BD wins Guard. I've also heard great things about Cadets guard. I don't know if they'll win, but I've heard they're very strong this year.

WOW that's a great video. Didn't actually expect to see any drill, but that looks nice. Can't wait to see them this year!
