That’s some darned great brass playing!

Wait until the day visual can be electronically enhanced the same way audio is today… when the three best rifles are videoed and duplicated across the field.

When they first made finals, I though oh ####, here they come!

Still plenty of time for surprises this season. Bloo surged late season 2022, snagged the Sanford, and tied for 2nd… twice. Now their guard has everyone taking notice. They’re still in this fight and could have two sections leading by Indy. BAC took brass last night and their percussion was only topped by Cavies’ superstars. Is Boston’s guard aiming for a later peak? They have the goods. Visually BAC’s show is coming alive under the dome and lights, and GE is beginning to gel. BD has a lock on GE and is at/near the top in everything else. They’re still the heavy favorite, and remain undefeated. Crown’s dark horse status is intact, and they can still be a spoiler for brass, guard, and MA. There are likely more moments under construction to pull together their GE.

The visual water effects were very clear under the dome and lights. Gives the show a huge new visual layer. Beautiful with the music.

They really are impressive

These are three great brass lines, and Bluecoats makes four. In Indy last season, it truly seemed like an “on any given night” situation.

Agree and get it. Also miss the added challenge of sound balance coming from the ensemble instead of a sound board. I tell myself it’s today’s instruments and more correct technique that requires the amping, mixing, etc. That satisfies me for a Jurassic minute.

Based on the designers’ last five final shows, they tend to remain committed to the basics of their original endings.
