If the BD’s take requests I’d love to see a reboot of their 1976 show incorporating all of the current/modern elements of drum corps.

I think it was in Lawrence Kansas, but I recall a group of older men in VFW hats yelling at us “THATS NOT DRUM CORPS!” This was in the early-mid 1970’s. Some things don’t change.

Congratulations to Blue Devils and all their fans and alumni!! To this day I (mildly) regret not auditioning to become a part after we folded.

i think 14 is a bit too young. 16 would be much better in my humble opinion.

I joined this website this week and haven't followed Drum Corps very closely in decades. Not sure how I'm supposed to know what's up with a corps I never marched in, but admired.

I started on the last page (174) hoping to get an update, or insider information, on how Madison is doing this year. Always liked and respected their organization. How many pages back do I need to go to actually find out?

I’m new here. Anaheim Kingsmen (DCI’s first winner) alumni. Although the activity looks different than what I’m used to, I’m happy to see Drum Corps is still going strong.

I remember hearing about this back in 1977 and thinking “wow”. ”dut-dut-dut” pretty sure originated from Mike Ellerby, not Float.
