Who do you think you are Mr. Mike who marched guard and who through the years here has explained thoroughly how you felt about a program? Cadets only need to clean their guard work. So many people have said so. Brass, percussion and other experts know guard more than anyone. /sarcasm off

Why don't you write the judges with your concerns? Maybe you could help them do their job?

I hope that somehow they understand that the communication issue is a big part of this. I also hope the next time that the Powers-that-Be meet, they discuss ways to improve the situation.

I think Cadets modified the guard uniforms back then to make the guard stand out more. I don't think the change was part of the original season plan. IIRC they started the season in uniforms that looked almost exactly like the rest of the corps and then switched to burgundy pants and purple tops. As soon as they made the change the guard scores started to improve. One thing - I think the color on the purple tops had a tendency to bleed when wet. I could be wrong about that though.

Wasn't RAMD closer to "Creature From The Haunted Sea?" Not even the Mothra Twins could summon help for RAMD.

Unfortunately HT's account is now in status "inactive/closed." I hope he reconsiders.

I liked Cadet's singer in 2006. I felt a badly for her when they cut History Repeating from the opening as it meant that she was only singing during the ballad. I know she did a few other things (Twilight Zone intro, Cast of Characters Intro) but aside from that she sang in the ballad. I'm glad I still have my San Antonio APD of the Cadets show before they changed the opening.
