My son was at the Colts Audition this past weekend in Kansas City. For him it was $80 per full camp. They also have to join the "Red Zone", that is a 1 time $125 fee. So for my son who drove from Des Moines with two others this first camp cost them $205 plus two tanka of gas. So for someone Flying Inn I could see a tryout weekend cracking close to $500. But for a second camp my son is looking at only the $80 and tank of gas. Just some info on cost for a finalist Corp from last year.

I belive the Colts had one of the SCV sound folks on staff this summer, does that count?

Great shows so far tonight. Colts hit there show again.

I am in the stadium. They changed all the cords, so do not think it was a genie issue. It was Boston staff fixing the issue not DCI.

Let's Go Colts......

Being a new Corp parent and of course loving you own kids shows I find it interesting how so many see so many shows in such a different way. They are all good shows, to me what stands out to me is I like the overall entertainment and music. I like the Colts show, my son is in it, love the music, the guard is good, I think the percussion is underrated in a great percussion field, I love the brass, great playing not just loud playing. With that said I see the Colts kinda where they are right now. I think the have grown better than the Blue Stars and I am not a huge Trooper show fan but Colts and Troop have been neck and neck all year. I can see where Phantom, Cadets and Mandarins are all just a touch better overall, but that does not mean as entertainment I like them all better than the Colts. I then see that the Blue Devils are good, really good and are so clean, great music, outstanding guards. I see why the are good. Same in many way for the Bcoats, BC and Crown. I am not a particular fan of the cavies show but that percussion keeps them slightly ahed of the Colts right now. So my final 12 is Crossman, Blue Stars, Troopers, tie Colts and cavies, phantom, mandarins,cadets,Boston, crown, bloo,bd.

Where would you have placed them?

Wow Colts. Way to go take that 9th spot pretty soundly tonight. Great Show by all. What a night. Really happy for the Colts, saw them and my son last night. They seemed loose and ready to go, they were. What a year for them, I think a Corp headed in the right direction, future is bright for the Colts. Proud Papa again tonight. Once again great job by all, but can't wait for Friday and Saturday.

I have Colts over Troop Tonight, but I am biased.

My son just confirmed, no Military Pak Warm Ups...

Looks like because of Wet Fields Milatary Park warm ups have moved indoors to the Convention Center. The rain has made Milatary Park too wet. DCI posted on Twitter or X or whatever it is called now. Bummer we were excited to see that.
