Did BJ call you too? He called me and I heard the end of the opener and the beginning of Ave Maria. I cannot wait to see this show on DVD. I heard about it all summer, but never saw a single clip or anything from DCI this summer. I was really hoping they could make the 3rd to 1st jump like we did in 96 and they almost did. From what I heard it was a travesty we didnt walk away with Horns, but our first drum title since God knows when is quite an awesome feat! SUTA Regiment!! '07, they aren't going to rebuild, they are going to re-load. Watch out! ^0^

I still have a great picture of the baritone lines from both corps in a giant pile with grins from ear to ear. I have had that picture framed and on the wall in every place I have lived. Great year, hard to believe it was 10 years ago

Funny thing Ern, I dont remember hearing that until I went back and watched the videos from Finals night....what a friggin mind job that would be if the Regiment pulled it off

That is a tradition I would definately like to see come back. In the three years I marched, it never happened and after growing up watching the videos where as the corps finished the show the streamers flying was a pretty cool site. I might just have to pick up a few B)

I agree with you on so many levels there.... 91, guard split in Bacchanale...nuff said B) and I i dont want to even think about us straying away from the all-female colorguard..always been that way and always should...its one of many things that makes the Regiment, the Regiment and something that no other corps can ever come close to recreate...God, I hope I get to a show this year!

My single favorite is from the end of Regiment's 1989 show when the sopranos restate the theme from the beginning of the finale. They're standing in a diagonal line with the low brass marching directly toward them. Then the full hornline blows the stadium apart. I love that.
