I can time travel.

A few years back I wouldn't give Crown the time of day. I didnt' like their brass sound, and overall didn't like their shows. But my-oh-my how things can change. Last year's Crown was my favorite show of the season... their brass staff has been nothing short of amazing. Kudos to the cream team...

inflated or not... im just really glad a few judges felt comfortable enough to pop Spirit a score that IMO shows a lot of respect to what our organization is doing this summer.

This thread gets started every year... and I love it! It's good to know your history, or in our case, our mutual histoy.

Atlanta hasn't ever been a big "fan" town... if you don't believe me go out to a Hawks or Thrashers game.... those are NBA and NHL teams if you've never heard of them. Even Braves games aren't really that packed out when compared to other major market teams.

Im pretty sure the dark blue/bright green deltas from last year were just for that show... so im assuming they will be going back to white deltas this year,

Yes, Chips Crotts made the offical announcement on Friday of the open house camp... very exciting!

I agree.. although I havent heard any arrangements yet, it seems like all the tunes should all have a blues/jazzy feel to them. Hopefully it wont sound segmented, and just flow.

How about Birdland? It's been a few years, right? I'd like to hear Spirit play In the Stone. (Bridgemen 80 and 81) It was suggested on one of our boards, and I think it'd be awesome to hear live again.

Depends on what you consider a success... They made finals 2 years in a row with strong shows. Looks like another solid staff that will hopefully help them improve quickly.

Corps haven't really done much Richard Wagner over the years... he's one of my favorites. Any of his pieces would be nice.
