I'm curious as to in what ways you think they are significantly BETTER than everyone else?

ANOTHER fantastic year for the Bloo team! I do have one suggestion for 2024...let's do a complete 180 and instead of being the LAST corps to announce your show, be the FIRST. A press release at midnight tonight would be good!!! (Or at least a phone call to me and I'll keep it quiet till July if you want.)

FWIW....I was STANDING when I paid the $1500 for tickets, $750 for the hotel, $200 for transportation, $3000 for concessions. Does that count?

Congratulations Bloo on your 3rd highest Prelim score ever...behind only 2016 (a pretty good show) and 2019 (another prettty good show.) Tonight's score was also the 8th highest score ever. Looking forward to the next two night's as you add to the history of a great drum corps.

As I recall they do announce some of the scores while the theater broadcast is going on. Last year they only held the last few corps until the end...close to midnight 🙂

The Super 3 forms were sent out a few hours before prelims started last year...but that may have been only for the folks who had ordered the previous year.

The Mandarins have certainly made a name for themselves here in 2023. It has been exciting to watch over the past few seasons to see them grow from being a very good corps to becoming "one of the big boys." I wish the corps a GREAT three nights and hope they fully take in the response they are going to get from the Indy crowd. CHIEF ENJOY YOUR FIRST FINALS!!!!
