Hey everyone, I'm writing today for some advice on how to cope after aging out of corps. I must really be honest that I never thought I'd miss tour as much as I do now, but it's certainly has taken me for a ride this summer, there are times when all I can think about is how simple tour life is. And I do find it hard to talk about this with any friends because they just won't fully understand what tour is like and what drum corps is all about, I don't know this may seem like a rant of a first draft but I just wanted to throw some of my feelings out there and see what my Alumni family thinks. Maybe tell me some things about how you felt after you aged out? How did you deal with it? How did you talk about it with friends? Was your first summer not being able to do corps rough to sit and watch pass you by? To all my fellow alumni thank you for coming before and making this wondrous activity what it is. And to my future Drum Corps alumni family, see you after next week.

Does anyone know of any open brass drill spots for div1? I know sometimes a corps will go for a while with holes and the final few weeks of tour fill them

Troopers are Back and better than ever. 12 tubas and pretty much a full corps. great show nice sound. big sound for that matter thy ran outta steam on the last half of their show but it was great.

Can someone post if they know where each corps will rehearse in Omaha before the show?

I can remember a post a few months ago talking about the corps who is the "standard" of the activity. It's been stated that with the Blue Devils 11 titles, they have been the standard. But now with The Cavaliers' repeated top one/two in the last several years, Have The Cavaliers now become the new "Standard of Excellence" ????? Your thoughts?
