i'd like to know if everyone has decided one certain year to vote for Spirit, 27th (i think some said 75), Bridgemen, Feelancers, Suncoast and velvet knights. B/c I plan on voting for all of them, but i don't want to vote for one year that no one is voting for, then the corps doesn't make it all...like the Bridgemen last year <**> . Any suggestions?

i have to agree, i've not really liked the shows since 1999, but i still respect how difficult they are. Anyway, I still love listening to them play Koren Folk Song in 1986 and 1987. Awsome.

yeah i am a drum corps history nut actually. I drive everyone crazy with it haha.

yea i like that one music wise, i don't have the 75 DVD yet hmm well since the muchachos won't be on there it sounds like i've got something to vote for

i thought that in 1977 the person in question was "only going to marching till he turned 22" or something. Regardless you can't blame an entire corps of kids on a few people's decisons. The 77 show one of the best early DCI shows hands down, mabye you should give it a chance before you pass judgement on them. also, is there any particular lancer show people are voting for...and i think i'm voting for 86 spirit and 84 suncoast sound

if they have a recording of 75 muchachos i'd say my 70's votes will go toward 75 muchachos and 77 bridgemen

awsome i've been a cadets fan since the first time I saw them in 1994. Looking foward to seeing them at Drums across the Tri-state (huntington, WV) this year :P

a friend of mine that was in spirit in the late 70's-early 80's said he used to sing "we are the regiment and we like fourth place" to Phantom when they played the 1812 overture.

if you've never heard the 77 show...do it now....its sweet, one of the best!

yes becasue i particularly enjoy Spirit of Atlanta, I felt that mabye they were under rated in 1992, bc i've heard it many times, but never seen it to know it was dirty drill wise

yeah 1992 top twleve was pretty tight, one of these days i'll find the tapes that has the spirit show on it so i can see it, I figured the show had to be dirty to be 16th, but it was pure spirit. thanks

Thats the only thing i could figure, b/c the music, is pretty tight compared to some other corps 11-12 places to be percise

It seems the more and more i listen to this show, i feel it was top 12 caliber. Anyone agree or disagree, and why?
